WastelandAssassin
well, you need to take several things into account for some reason, i can't find the requirements of NIFScope, so i can't tell if it requires Python, but i do think it requires Python scripts to runalso, in order to open a file with blender, you must export the files to the correct file type, and for that you need a spesific plugin, to export the file using NIFScope, if i remember correctly i think that this page should have all the info you need hope this helps
The_Vyper
If you're just trying to swap out a color, NifSkope is all you need (provided you already have the alternate texture). in my Alternate Dark Welkynd Stones resource, I used Paint.net (free program) to make the textures and NifSkope to apply them. heavywaters
thats good to know but i cant find my textures for my vanella weapons. There still ingame i just cant seem to find the glass weapons and such in my folder. They are compressed in a BSA file, they must be extracted before they can be accessed. Do a little research before you make a new post, I assure you - you would have found the answer.
Smooth613
I don't understand it either Heavywaters... I never will. It takes less effort to google something than it does to go to a forum, register(seems so many people register and immediately ask a question), post a question, then wait for hours or days for an answer. Sitting around going,.. "Bump" "C'mon guyz HALP" "NE1?" Check this out, watch how long this takes plus it answers the OPs question. CLICK HERE! So simple... The very first result has the answer in the description! You don't even have to click the damn link. :wallbash: I understand you want to join an active community and all but cmon, post something that involves some effort. Nothing personal OP I just see this crap all the time and it gets old. I had to let that out. I don't mind helping but people need to put some effort into it on their own. Good day. LHammonds
I'm sorry for the greeting you just received, we are normally much more friendly than this. *** glares at other members *** The game installs with all the assets inside of specially design files called Bethesda Archive (BSA) files. You need a utility to extract them so you can see and edit them. How To Extract BSA Files Using BSA Commander If you just want to change the colors (textures) of existing items in the game, you can create what is called a Texture Replacer that affects all items in the game. How To Create Texture Replacers However, if you don't want to affect everything in the game and just create a unique set of items with their own textures, you can follow this tutorial: How To Create New Re-Textured Items LHammonds
