Everything's Great, but a specific CTD?

Hi guys. New guy here. I tried searching a bit but nothing really catered to my problem.

 

So I've been playing Skyrim a couple weeks. Added quite a few mods. Game runs great. Decent FPS, sounds awesome. The whole nine.

 

But recently I've ran into a pretty specific crash to desktop scenario. I can't load any of my save files while I'm IN GAME. I can load from the home screen no problem, but if I'm in game and I try to load a game? It starts to load, then I get a little half second half invisible dialog window in the top left and it crashes to the desktop.

 

Also, if I save it in a house, and load it in any way, it also CTD.

 

But if I save it in the Skyrim world, load from the menu, no problems whatsoever. I'm thinking it's a mod (or two?). I ran LOOT. Here's my log:

Haven't tried uninstalling anything yet. I see I have a lot of dirty plugins...

My suggestion is that you fix all the messages in your loot log--not just the mods that need cleaning, but the missing compatibility patches, everything. Those are really important messages and should not be ignored, with rare exceptions.

Also, it you have a bunch of saves in your save file, clean out most of them.

I also recommend not using anything except full saves. Auto and quick saves increase the chance of save file corruption.

Awesome! Thank you. I'll get TES5Edit and clean them. Then I'll see about getting some of the compatibility patches. You also hit a pretty big one... I have like 10 or 12 saves? So I could just move a lot of them to a backup folder and leave the 1 or 2 I use.

 

Yeah, I've read that. I almost never use the "continue" button, or load any auto or quick saves.

 

Thanks for your help. Hopefully these get me squared away.
