JoezzaHawke
I bought both DLCs. . . :/ Meaning Dawnguard and Dragonborn. . . I also bought Hearthfire. But Dawnguard is gone from my PC. Completely, the record of it is even gone. :( How can I get it back?
bben46
Open your steam account and validate game cache. That will replace anything that is missing. To validate a game’s cache, right-click the game in your Steam library and select Properties. In the properties window, click the Local Files tab and click the Verify Integrity of Game Cache button. KimberJ
hmmm, actually you would right click the games name in Steam an list the DLC, an it shows installed or not installed, if it's not then just click it an that puts it in downloads. Cause validate could cause a download an install of the whole game, which is either a good or bad idea, but it does take time, an this person just wants the DLC they purchased, an idk maybe it deals with the problem maybe it doesn't but sometimes it downloads the whole entire game again, which isn't always necessary. Got to love steam though, an Yay, we saw ben post, it's been a long time, I hope things are going well.

But Dawnguard is not even listed in my account.Okay, I tried to validate the bad file again and it failed to validate. What now? KimberJ
There is no what now. If the DLC isn't listed when you click the name to show DLC in library. You either have it or not. If you bought it an don't have it that's a Steam issue, an steam support related. Short of us connecting to your computer to control the mouse, there's not much we can do. It's too late now but if I spent any mooneyz on Skyrim it would be for the Legendary edition which adds a couple of things plus the DLC. You can keep talking about it if you like, but there isn't much we can do to help I don't think. It's bumped though if it's a common problem maybe someone will see. uh... you can also use steam to view the DLC in the store, it might say if you own it or not. Got no idea on that, cause I never had a problem. You could just use steam to view common questions/problems instead of contacting them, prolly better that way if you can't figure it out.
