How do you select multiple vertices at one in edit mode?

What i mean is, is there is way you can click on each vertex individually to select it? Thanks

If I understand correctly what you ask, you can hold down Shift while clicking to select multiples. You can also hold down Ctrl and the mouse button to do a 'lasso' select.

if that doesn't work hold down "Ctrl" and press the "a" key

Ok thanks. Turns out you have to press the b key twice. Then G to realease
