bbe Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 I just recently re-installed oblivion and naturally got to downloading mods. I remember pretty clearly how to use OBMM yet whenever I click on "find archive" and find a rar to double click on, it tells me "The file was password protected, or was not a valid rar file" This is happening with all of the rars I download, and I've never encountered it before. does anyone know what's going on? thanks
BluHaze Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 It's odd that this is happening with multiple files, but try to extract the rars yourself with WinRAR, see if there's a problem with the archives, or if it's just OBMM being weird.

Is your win zip rar also restricted ? when you extract a archive it is not able to. Sound s like the directory is the villin. C:\Games\Oblivion c:\users\YOU\win rar\archives c:\users\YOU\win rar\extracted
