I want the light gray or white( whatever youd like to call it..) spots to be transparent how do i make it transparent so it actually looks like hair?Please Help me if theres someone that has experience with this... I'm no expert but assuming this uses the same NiTriStrips data you could probably look at the texture file and adjust the alpha for the tips of the hair, and have the NiMaterialProperty slightly below 1? CounterPoint391 Posted October 16, 2011 Share Posted October 16, 2011 Alright, first off, is that a custom hair texture or is it using the one from the game? I'm not terribly familiar with modding Oblivion specifically, but working with hair models for other games I can tell you that there is an issue with your alpha channel. Assuming you created the texture, did you create an alpha channel? If you did, did you save the file in a DDS format that supports alpha? DX5 should do the trick, if I recall correctly.
