Some older mods have major issues with NMM and should not be installed with NMM.

I can't seem to even access the Package Manager on FOMM, and I'm using this version since I was told too: http://www.nexusmods...&preview=&pUp=1

It's a matter of preference which one you perfer. I like Nexus Mod Manager myself.
