NV freezes- Would really appreciate some help.

Whenever I try to use the mod kits on a handgun, the game freezes. I tried it on the 9mm, and the 10mm, and the cowboy revolver. Both make the game freeze. When I try to use the kits on something like a rifle, or a shotgun, the mods don't show up in the list. I added the weapons and mod kits to my inventory through the container mod, and got them at the beginning of the game. Any help will be appreciated, thanks ahead

 

-Edit: Never mind, I found the cause of the freezing. The Container mod added a thousand of each weapon mod, and was simply too much to list.
