Yum Cha
OK, so after the patch I think they broke the C finder. I'll point and fire and the 3 targeting lasers will come down and begin to close in, but the blue killing laser won't fire. However the 3 red targeting lasers will continue to repeat their animation over and over again even when switching weapons. The 3 smaller lasers also fallow your mouse cursor where ever you look. Waiting over 24 hours also does not recharge the weapon at all. I've tried dropping it and picking it back up too. I even loaded an earlier save where I was just fooling around with the weapon and still nothing.
thestaub
Yes, i've been experiencing the very same problem too.Taking aim, firing and only the targeting laser com down, nothing more.Happens like... 9 out of 10 times? Reloading at least stops the lasers but again a 90% chance the damn weapon won't fire. Having seen it once (yeah it actually worked 2 times in 20 hours of gameplay, it is so very nice. I don't know if this is the right place to ask but if any modder could look over the weapons script in the GECK, (which is waaaaaaaay over my head for what i understand of the GECK)and maybe find out/fix that? alec6694
I have this problem too, the only way that I was able to fix it is to fire the laser, then save and exit the game, then reload your save, be careful though because when your game reloads it might fire the laser and you could be killed... this fix only works about half the time I try it though... dubiousintent
While we applaud your desire to help: please note the date of the previous post, and see the Nexus "Terms of Service" about not resurrecting old threads. The primary reason is that the original thread participants are seldom still around, and it is unlikely that you have exactly the same setup. Details matter. Unsolved problems are usually due to vague descriptions of symptoms without any underlying details. And unless you are providing a definitive solution or significant new solid leads towards such a solution, it does not justify resurrecting an old thread. Even in the latter case you are better off starting your own thread and providing all the details requested in the wiki "How to ask for help" article. -Dubious-
