Companions=Oblivion won't load

I've been using BOSS and OBMM and -every- single mod I have (thus far) works without a hitch. However, anytime I activate in OBM, regardless of order (I've f***ed around with this to no end) oblivion won't allow it and will crash. I already have cmpartners 2.0 omod, but no companions, CM or otherwise will boot without crashing the game.

Protips?

You say you use BOSS, but there is no mention of Wrye Bash or a Bashed Patch. If you have many mods, which the use of BOSS would suggest, you almost certainly would benefif from a Bashed Patch. For further help, please post a list of your mods, preferably taken from within Wrye Bash, including the ["spoiler"]["code"]...["/spoiler"]["/code"] sections (without the quotes).

If you need a load order I can tell you what mods I'm using as well. But what I'm trying to get at is you mention Wyre Basch, which I have but have not had to use thus far. I'm just asking first and foremost (if it requires using wyrebasch so be it) if there's a required element needed to make companions work at all besides something like CMpartners 2.0.

Let's take for example I load CMTifa with OMM and check her off with CMpartners 2.0 as a registered OMOD, the game crashes whenever she is selected regardless of order. Is there something wyrebasch does to patch character models that might not match the mods you have in game? etc...

If you use a CM partner, then yes, CM Partners 2 is a requirement, because your partner mod needs the master file, else the game will crash. Tifa uses custom hair, eyes, teeth and face, so a Bashed Patch will help prevent any conflicts there. If you post your mod list I may be able to assist you further.

*facepalm*

My mistake guys. I didn't need to use wyrebasch, it wasn't a mod load error. I just made the mistake of -only- downloading the "OMOD" for CMpartners 2.0. Took me a lot of digging to realize I never completed the main file download to go with it.

Thanks for the help though!
