whitelion73
I have a ton of ideas swarming around in the old noodle. I tried to learn how to mod Fallout: 3, but was just never able to. Every YouTube video I found was just how to change the damage, weight, etc. etc. of things. Not necessary altering the appearance or anything. Are there any ACTUAL guides or tips you guys know of? Would greatly appreciate it.

Just screw it.. I'll leave the modding to you guys..

Just screw it.. I'll leave the modding to you guys..One of the main aspects of modding, if not also one of the most rewarding aspects, is in learning to figure it out as you go. Just because a tutorial doesn't exist, or doesn't relate to NV aspects doesn't mean you should just give up. Afterall, if a tutorial exists, it usually means that hundreds of people have already done that particular thing whereas anything without a tutorial or documentation is often un-explored territory that is just itching to be figured out. Quetzlsacatanango
Think of something you want to change. Start small.See how they did it originally, or how other modders have done it.Apply what you have learned.

It may not necessarily interest you, or create anything useful, but through the course of it you can become familiar with the tools and resources available and figure out how they work.
