ad2010
I´m on Win 7 64 bit and can´t figure out how to enable Dolby Surround. In the gamelauncher it works just fine, but as soon as the game starts, it´s stereo. There was an ingame option in FO 3, but no such thing here. Thanks

Thanks I didn't see anything in either [Audio] section of Fallout.ini and FalloutPrefs.ini. Maybe check if Win7 has it enabled (not just passing stereo thru the side 2 speakers) From the control panel go to `Sound`, then on the 'playback' tab select your default Speakers device and click the `configure` button and choose 5.1 Surround. I have a Logitech 5.1 also but I set my Windows to 7.1 and use the Xonar's audio control panel to change it to 5.1 because I prefer front, center and rear rather than front, center and side (5.1). To test if your 5.1 is working you could try listening to this 5.1 wma sound file, it'll play audio out each channel individually surround test .wma
ad2010
Surround works fine in general, just not in FONV. Or so i thought. I found out that it´s just the music/radio, ingame effects seem to be in surround. Still, it´s strange.
