LE Crossbow Shield

Can anyone make an mod with a crossbow implemented onto a shield? Holding down right click to block, holding down left click to shoot, left click to swing weapon.

I'd assume it's impossible to add brand new function to it, but probably something Dark souls 2'esque could be done and when you are shooting your armor rating would go up/ you could have the spell ward effect on so you block spells from front etc.

i would actually like to see something like that, it would be interesting as both a weapon and a frontal defense, though i wouldn't add on much to it, it is after all still meant to be a weapon, but if you could add it as a crafting system of some sort, then id say it would be highly recommendable for the ranger type characters.

Leveling a archer type is not easy when the game is set at master level, the bolt damage should only deal small amount of damage, to keep the game balanced.

I really like this idea. I imagine the shield in question would be a low defensive value, though, to keep the crossbow from being too heavy to aim and fire. Maybe sneaking with this would provide more stability for firing, like a shield line providing a wall for the archers behind them?
