new mod not doing anything

lmao, you know that changing anything potentially ruins a save game. At least in the mod creation process you can't really test anything on a existing save game. That's been true the last 6 years. So maybe you need to look at using the mods that either already do this, or edit those. Anyway it doesn't mean anything, just saying. Then if depending on what you changed it might only work with one npc or one location depending on how the DLC is designed, an I'll admit I didn't bother looking at it. Anyway good luck with it whatever you decide.

Well I'm not a modder, I just opened it up and started searching for relations in CK between Hearthfire and Skyrim where I found the tagged BYOH connection and that all mills that sell lumber are connected to a single faction where the transaction takes place, all linked to the values I edited; costing Y for X amount of sawn logs which I changed and reinstalled the completed plugin along with the DLC to which was only partially working, again I'm not a modder so I don't know where to start and the last mod I tried to work on put 50+ hours down the drain, my saved game is backed up and I have yet to find anything that changes the value of building the homestead save for the easy cheat mods, my expertise is with .xml, CK is beyond me

so you got no idea if it's dialog or quest alias related, :D. Doesn't matter, if you want to figure that out go CS Official Webpage There's one for every game pretty much. That an the (insert game name)edit or editor as it's called, is how stuff gets made pretty much, you gota understand what all the stuff means. I spent 6 years on the old SDK an there was still 2-3 things I hadn't fully learned. Now think about how many of these mods are thrown together like that, any kind of way they can figure out. Cause peepol don't really use the SDK site, tutorials, or even the Bethesda forum, heh. Idk, Heartfire, lol, gives you large amounts of loot for free anyway if you build it or pay to have it built. Skyedit for example you could load up the whole load order an filter it to view things. That or for example look at hearthfire.esm an how the mechanic actually works before you change it. As in look at the whole thing an go to the website to figure out what all that stuff means, that or get someone here to look at it. u can upload files to the board. Jus sayin if you wana keep working on it.
