Mitia
Well I tried to do it myself but since i'm kind of a naab, i can't figure how to access the companion wheel. ED-E can be healed using stimpaks, which is kinda weird : stimpaks are chems, robots aren't supposed to be affected (and how will the needle pierce the metal ?) So i wanted to replace the stimpaks with maybe scrap iron or spare electronics parts, but to compensate for the weight, using one of these components would fully repair ED-E. If someone could make this little tweak or tell me where to search in the GECK, would appreciate. Thanks for reading !

joshw42291
Thanks lol, i didn't even notice that because my companions are all essential >_<
randios187
I would say go ahead and make it Lead that repairs him... weird still, yeah a little, but once you break down the scrap metal at the reloading table, it turns into weightless lead.. so why not? Mitia
I'd do it if i could find where to modify something... Basically spent some hours searching for the companion wheel menu using different search strings and locations, but found nothing.
devilbound
Tbh if you can heal him with only one piece of something worthless its a bit like cheating... The weight would make up for the price difference imo. make it so you can repair him with scrap iron and scrap electronics, maybe also conductors and those bits n pieces. And maybe make them heal in ratio to their weight? Like one conductor (6kg) would be enough for a complete heal. It is funny tho to heal a droid with a needle, as well as its funny that he "dies"... You should be able to repair him after battle.
Mitia
Yeah you're right, or maybe fission batteries. Anyway i don't want it ending like cheating, just that doesnt make sense ^^.
