TheTuna
Hey,I am trying to make an Enclave underground bunker akin to the Brotherhood of Steel Hidden Valley one to populate with East Coast Enclave soldiers and eventually develop into a questline of some sort. I am a novice modder but have completed the vault construction part of the My First Vault tutorial; I was able to build working rooms with ease. However, when I loaded up my fully coherent and sealed off Enclave bunker ingame, at least half of the pieces I have placed in the GECK do not appear. Can anyone help me with this? Upon inspection, the Brotherhood bunker that is fully constructed ingame seems to have many pieces missing in the GECK; could that have anything to do with my problem? Here's some screens to illustrate it. My question is basically whether it's a problem with these specific pieces needing weird placement, or if it is the NV GECK as a whole. Thanks! What I see ingame: http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb230/SwampLord450/ScreenShot0.jpg What the GECK shows me:http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb230/SwampLord450/enclavebunkerhelp.png
TheTuna
Anybody have any idea why this is happening? I honestly don't know, every piece is placed perfectly in the GECK, it's so weird.
djmystro
If you built the mod by first deleting the contents of an existing cell then theres a chance the room still has invisible portal markers. You can reveal these in the render window by clicking on View in the drop down menu's, then show/hide and check the portals and rooms option. The portals markers should show up in blue (if there are any). Just delete them all and that should solve your problem. If thats not the prob i'm afraid I can't help.
