ceeeeejay
Firstly, I apologise if this is not posted in the best place but it is mod related somewhat. I have been using natural environments latest version and while it is a great mod, Ive been havinga problem with fog setting in quite regularly for days at a time, from dusk till dawn. Its definately not stuck that way as I get the odd bright patch, but 80 percent of the time its just fog. This wouldnt be a problem as it is quite a nice effect but its cutting down my view distance to about 30 metres in gameand it is also conflicting with my bloody mess mod and making my character glow white (this only in fog and vanishesif it liffs or if I go indoors) so I need to get rid of this fog. There is a simple console command for this, but the problem is I cant access the console on my Japanese keyboard. Ive tried eveything. My bAllowConsole is set to 1, I tried evey key on the keyboard and then tried them all with shift, lol. Ive read troubleshooting guides for Japanese keyboards and console commands but to no avail. So, this brings me to my last resort. I should be able to edit or remove the fog via the ini file but I dont dont want to mess around with it without getting some advice first. Can I safely edit fog in the ini? What should I search for? SetFog same as the console command? I realise I could turn natural environments off, but have used it from the start and turning it off corrupts all my saves. Alsoit seems to be Autumn in the game and I hadnt noticed a huge fog problem before that. Also waiting it out does not work eitherI once waited a week in 6 hour slots and the fog was there most of the time. When it cleared, moving seemed to bring it back. Anyway, any help would be very much appreciated.

Smooth613
Natural Environments and Arthur Natural Environments both have some rather serious bugs, this is one. Weather getting stuck. Another is fast switching weather. It happens when you enter your inventory, containers, or any menu basically. Even the console. There is a supposed fixed version, RD Natural Weather Test Fix but it seems hit or miss. I strongly suggest you switch to a weather mod that is not bugged. Weather - All Natural is the most advanced and highly customizable. It includes all other weather systems, including Natural Weather from NE. All other components of NE, Natural Vegetation, Natural Habitat, etc... are all compatible. So you won't lose any feature you already have. You gain more options and don't have to put up with bugs from NE. There are many more perks to this mod just check out the description page. I will bring another mod to your attention that only works with All Natural, Immersive Interiors. It's a great mod, check out it's page also. If you decide not to use All Natural I suggest Enhanced Weather. A good choice for those not using All Natural for whatever reason. Typically removing a mod will not cause problems with a previous save. I have done it many times. If you're referring to the message that pops up when loading you can just ignore that and everything should load as normal.

The weather spell works great for now, but if I wait, quick travel, sleep or enter/exit a city its insta fog again eveytime....which is a pain. I deactivated natural environments and every time I try to load a any save game I get a crash to desktop. This is right after I click past the pop up box and it starts loading. All my saves were with NE and they all CTD so Im stuck withit for now. I would still like to know if I can turn off fog via the ini file if you guys know anything about that. Again, thanks guys. I would as well like to know how to disable fog altogether, I use All Natural plugin.
MrJim
If you go inside somewhere and save out of the weather you may be able to disable 'all natural' and continue to play without it. Have you tried loading from an indoors save? It might work best from a basement or a dungeon rather than a regular house.
