AlorianX
I am looking for someone to add a visual effect and ability to equip two pistols and if at all possible to acompany it, 1 perk with 3 levels, "Ambidextrous" i would think that with two weapons equiped the weapon spread would be huge with each tier of perk lessening the spread of weapon fire. I would also like to think that this can me done with melee but would require an animation specialist to create the animation for the left hand swing of a blade, same perk. Evil Lord Proteus
I would love to see Duel Wielding put into the game. I have wanted this since Fallout 3.
XSoldier
Oh great, the dual wield request makes a return, but this time it's for New Vegas. -_-" Because the engine is pretty much the same as its predecessor, I highly doubt Dual Wield will come. DeadYorick
If it wasnt possible in Fallout 3 it's sure as hell not going to be possible in New Vegas. From what I remember about requests for this in Fallout 3 the engine simply cant support dual attacking at all
sdorman22
What about as a non-functional model and animation only change? Purely for aesthetics. I don't care about it actually affecting my game play, but I would love to see my character wearing and drawing 2 revolvers. If that happened it'd go great with an outfit that features a rig similar to the one worn by Val Kilmer's Doc Holliday in Tombstone, with one revolver on a very low slung shoulder holster sitting in front of the hip and another under the opposite shoulder. I don't know how much animation you could change to make that work, and it might not be possible, but hey it'd be neat. :P

Especially when it cant work in the way it was designed. In New Vegas the only thing you could possibly do is model it so the character holds two pistols. But then only the pistol on the right would actually fire. The one on the left wouldn't actually do anything except sit there.
sdorman22
Yeah, I understand that, and wouldn't even suggest it except for the western theme of the game. It never hurts to suggest things though, so many modders, you never know what may consider interesting enough to try.

DPErny
It seems to me like the most logical way to do this is to treat the "dual wielded" weapon as one gun. This once gun could have all custom animations to give it the appearance of a dual wielded weapon. It doesn't seem like it would take much coding, but you would have to find a very talented animator and modeler.
