lol sheesh, that's warm  Sorta glad the heat isn't on in here...it's included with our rent and all...but man it's like 80F in here all winter!

Ah the wind...finally done and over with. Now it's just 6 C out with a low of -2C (put it in C for you guys lol...F is confusing ain't it?) tonight...ahh brr here comes winter! Halloween looks bitter and nasty, like it is every year...

Yeah, C is easier, but I know F. So feel free to use it.

Last summer, we had a record high of 55C (That's 131F I think)

Now imagine that, while having no AC, and the only thing to cool you down is the basement, which was about 40 C.

The good part was, as it got to near 6pm, a massive storm came through.

The bad part though, the next day was unbearably humid.

You know the saying 'Every cloud has a silver lining'? That day had no clouds at all.

You sound like me! I can't deal with the heat but the cold and I get along just fine. I can take sub-freezing far better than anything over 80F.

Driving through this wind the other 2 days was crazy on highway 45. I had to not only fight off the typical traffic issues on my roughly 1/2 hour commute, but had to fight to keep my car in my lane as the wind buffeted it across the highway! The fence gate got heavily damaged by the wind and the hinges are bent and the last screw in each one got pulled completely out of the wood. Living this close to Lake Michigan has it's ups and downs.
