SG-1 gear

Recommended Posts

So, is there anyone with mad mod skills and atleast small amount of love for Star Gate SG-1? Cause I'd like to see the armors they use and weapons (P90's, Gao'uld staff weapons, zappers, etc.) made for New Vegas. If there is someone seriously able to do that. Id totaly bow on your feet and sing "Im a little piggy."

I just started playing NV and have seen the spears as well but have yet to see a weapon type that you hold like a staff and shoot something out of the staff.

well you could just use the default rifle animations and place the model so it looks like its holding it like they do when they actually aim with the staffs (witch is raaaaaaaaaaaaare)

hahaha...that was the armor I was tinkering around with and toyed with the idea of adding it to Oblivion...however, I gave up on it and apparently lost the files (all of them). I looked not too long ago for them but alas, I have no idea where they went. Anyone with poser would really need to modify it and re-export. There are some pieces that are "rolled up" with an animation modifier of some sort but is imported into blender as a fairly worthless object lump.

Here is the readme for the Jaffa armor by Dodger:

This product is released as-is. The content files and mesh are released with the following restrictions only:

  • You may not redistribute this content without explicit permission. It must be downloaded by each user from the sites the creator has placed it on.
  • Any use of this content requires attribution to Sean 'Dodger' Cannon, the creator of the content. However, you may choose where and how said attribution is made, provided is it visible to a viewer and easily locatable. You are not required to make the attribution directly in the work itself, simply in a place such a work would normally be expected to be located, such as in the credits listed below an image, during the opening or closing credits of a movie, etc. If you are using this work in a way that makes attribution unfeasible (such as an avatar for a forum) this requirement does not apply in practice, but remains in spirit (i.e. if someone says "where did you get that?" you have to tell them who made it and where you downloaded it).
  • No restrictions are demanded by the creator of this content as to commercial or noncommercial use. However, you are solely responsible for any possible repercussions form the use of this content, which is derived from the television series "Stargate SG-1" and that which the content represents is thus copyright 1997 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, and additionally derived from the film Stargate, copyright 1994 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer & Lionsgate Entertainment. Of course, if you are with MGM, Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment or a similar licenced user of rights to Stargate properties, and choose to make use of this content for a BBC production, I am perfectly happy to see it used thus (however, the requirement to be credited still applies).

While it is not a requirement, I'd love to see what you do with this content. Feel free to post your pics in the Whatever3d Forums!

Ah I have a copy on my desktop already in OBJ but No skill yet to do anything with it.

All the tools and such but brain to back it up.

This armor is the only brilliant one I know of too.

Ill ask about tho to see if anybody is interested in rigging it and getting ingame.

Fingeres crossed we will have a Working jaffa Armor in Fallout and Oblivion.

I have the p90 already locked and loaded to fire its bullets at and bounce off nicely against this armor.

Woo!
