Run Goodsprings Run quest problem

So i successfully completed the 'run goodsprings run' quest and i talked to Joe Cobb..He tells me that if i head over to the NCR correctional facility, i should tell them he sent me. So at this point my reputation is "Soft-Hearted Devil" for the Powder Gangers. This is a NEUTRAL reputation...The problem is as soon as i get within sight of the NCR correctional facility which is S.E. of Goodprings...they attack me. I thought since Joe Cobb said i could go there, it would be ok....do i need to have a GOOD reputation for the Powder Gangers still? Or is this a bug? Am i going to the wrong correctional facility?

they shouldn't be attacking you.....

are you sure you got to the right place??

because you should find one guy at the gate, who tells you that you have to pay up to enter and all

the people there aren't hostile, but PGs outside the facility usually are hostile

 

maybe get a PG suit, and then it should solve that problem

maybe im not at the right place....im going to a place called NCR correctional facility...Its just East of Goodsprings Water Source...is that right?

they do have a gate...and several guard towers around the perimiter. there is a guard behind the gate...but they all attack me instantly

that is strange.....

i mean, i did the quest but killed the GPs, and i have been rather bad to them, and still they won't attack me on sight (at least not the ones in that facility)

 

again, try to get a GP armor and wear it, and maybe then they won't attack you
