Craigsters Posted October 28, 2010 Share Posted October 28, 2010 Every time I go to ask Ringo the rules of caravan game the game freezes on screen and I can't even use ctrl,alt and delete to get to the task manager to quit the game, I have to cold start my PC, press on power button on front of tower for 10 seconds to get out of the game!.. Also there's one oval kitchen table in that first town you start the game in a house that when you try to loot the table the game freezes too, table has two beers a chess board and four bottle caps around it, I avoid looting it because every time the game freezes up!.. I have XP Pro SP 3 and 4 gb of DDR 2 ram and a ATI Radeon Sapphire HD 3850 video card and installed the mod called Alternate D3D9 performance fix for ATI link to mod http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34970 for newer cards performance improvement Update: Solved the problem, it was either the d3d9.dll from the Alternate D3D9 performance fix or the cheat trainer from cheathappens the Ultimate Trainer 1.1.1.271 for unlimted members causing my problem, I zipped up the d3d9.dll and deleted it from my game director and started the game without the cheat trainer and was able to talk to Ringo and play the hard card game and lost!.. Yes I'm s unlimited cheathappens member and no I don't share trainers from there, they are customized for each member with there username and password is embedbed into each trainer Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
