What is your favourite quest?

I'm sure we all have finished quite some quests already. Some finished all of them perhaps. Now i'm asking, what was your favourite (favorite, MB?) quest? And I mean the quest, not the reward. So take all the quests in your mind, but scrap the reward. What quest do you like the most?

I like paranoia the most, because you can end it (and reach that end) in many different ways:

*COMPLETE PARANOIA QUEST SPOILER*

You kill glarthir anytime during or before the quest.

You spy on the 3 characters, kill them on the way, say they spied on him, or say they didn't spy on him. Or make combinations of this with the 3 characters.

Then you have this guard who tells you not to help Glarthir.

And at every step in the quest, Glarthir writes notes in his home. After every step you can sneak into his basement, and find a new note.

Then there are even more choices. If the characters of which you said they were spying on him aren't dead yet, Glarthir will ask you to kill him. If David Surilie (sp?) is one of those, you can bring him the note Glarthir gave you, and he and his brother(s) will kill him. Or, you kill David. Or, you show the message to a guard and they will kill him.

Or you say you don't want to kill him, and Glarthir will try to kill them himself, which usually leads to Glarthir's death.

Or when you said neither of the three characters spied on him, he will attack you.

When talking to the characters (except David) they will thank you for telling them, and say you should warn a guard.

Or you could kill all the characters you said were spying on Glarthir, and receive 1000 gold. And then you can still kill Glarthir if you want.

So depending on what you do, you end up with +1 to fame (don't know which way that was), the death of Glarthir without any extra's, or 1000 gold.

*END PARANOIA QUEST SPOILER*

So many possibilities, that's why I like this quest. Plus the voice acting for Glarthir. Same person as all the other wood elves I believe, but the way he says things.... Great! I haven't done all the quests yet so I might find a better one, but for now Paranoia is my number one!

So, what is your favourite quest, and why?

And don't you think that wood elves are always the annoying/weird/funny people? Glarthir and Adoring fan (right?) in Oblivion, and Gaenor and Fargoth in Morrowind. And have you ever seen a wood elf (or argonian, or khajiit) at the top of a guild? Racism

As a sneaky type I most enjoy quests where I have to use the sneak skill. In particular the DB quest to swap some medicine and the TG quest in the Temple of the Ancestor Moths. I make it my goal to get through without being spotted by anyone (and no use of chameleon!).

Anything where I feel I am using skills I have learned.

Quests where I got the biggest sense of achievement would be saving Kvatch right at the beginning of the game and The Ultimate Heist.

Go in sword drawn and kill type quests don't much appeal.

My murderous Imperial assassin just had a delightful little surprise when she played out the "Corruption and Conscience" quest in Cheydinhal. Gold, death, an empty house to loot, and a (slightly bloodstained) Cheydinhal uniform— all for her.

The quest in the Painted World is fun. Plus, the Troll fat you collect there is extremely useful for restorative potions.

.... And have you ever seen a wood elf (or argonian, or khajiit) at the top of a guild? ...

Yes, I have. The Listener of the Black Hand is a Wood Elf.

Two of the mages guild chapters (Bruma (after the recomendation) and Bravil) have argonians as the head of their chapters. Not head of a guild, but still in a seat of power.

Anyway, some of the Daedric quests are fun, Sheogorah, Sanguine, and the one for skull of corruption are kinda cool, for their own reasons. Sheogorah has you forcing odd signs on a village of khajiit, Sanguine has that whole stark reality thing, one for skull of corruption has a series of distorted rooms.

DB Spoilers (duh)

My favorite quest of ALL time was the kill 5 guests quest in the Dark Brotherhood without getting noticed! I found it simply brillant! Near the end, I made the dumner lady think that the nord guy is the assassin and she went off and killed him with her conjured daedric warhammer HILARIOUS. And the dialogue option at the beggining

- I am a paid assassin sent here to kill you LOLLLL

Three Argonians head up Mages' Guild Halls (Chorrol, Cheydinhal, and Bravil), and a Wood Elf leads another (Leyawiin). The Argonians actually aren't all that a surprise— they have an affinity to Mysticism and Illusion. And one of the Doyens of the Thieves Guild is a Khajiit.

"Information... For a Price" would rank up there as my fave. Dusting vamps is a load of fun, and you can deal with the hunters in a number of ways— honestly, dishonestly, or painting the cobblestones with their blood.

Alright there goes my theory... But I haven't seen khajiit yet ;)

The highest rank a Khajiit had in a guild I can remember is the second quest giver in the thieves guild.

I didn't know you could make the one person believe the other was the assassin in that party house quest... Nice... Talking to the last person alive is fun too. Everyone is dead, except you and me... But that means....
