Gwyvern
hi, its me again, i have a texture i want to convert from .png to .dds using DDS converter 2, but either A: its faulty, or B: (more likely) im doing it wrong (again) i open the converter and select the image i want to convert, but the convert button does not highlight, if i select an "image file list" and then spam click the image it does somthing that i cannot realy identify but i know is not converting my image to a .dds, infact im sure that the image to convert was not even involved in the operation thanks (again) for any help rendered
Quetzlsacatanango
Photoshop + plugin works well. If you don't have that, paint.net natively reads and writes dds. Just open your png and save as dds.
ub3rman123
The DDS COnverter doesn't work with Windows 7, unfortunately. There is also a GIMP plugin you can use.
Gwyvern
well i now have the .nif looking right in nifscope, but it still pops up as <!> in the Geck, ive added an update to the file with the suposedly Nifscope working file, at this point i dont see (logically) what could possibly be wrong
mr helton
I used the DDS converter on Windows 7 64 bit and it works just fine. In order to make the convert button clickable, you have to click the little "/" button at the bottom after you manually enter the filename to convert at the time. I'm pretty sure it mentioned that in the instructions, but I can't remember for sure. hope this helps
