Malchik
Ohio gozaimasu Having now done all quests but Wulf and the Quarra Vampire Clan, there are several odd hints or situations in the game that don't lead anywhere. I list some of them below. Do I have to be a particular race, gender or level, were they set up for quests Bethesda decided not to proceed with or are they quests without journal entries like the killing of the dwarven spectre in Jeanne's shop (assuming you put the dwemer bone there in the first place)? I mean:- 1. The five/six journal pages from the foreman in the dungeon of Tel Vos2. The delivery of cheese in the Vos tradehouse3. The Water of Life spring in some cave or other 4. The amulet and bone of Pop Je in the tomb south of Dagon Fel5. The named corpse in the locked room at the bottom of the Morag Tong guild in Balmora6. References (by the woman next to Arille in the tradehouse at Seyda Neen and in the abandoned shack on the Bitter Coast) to a 'city' under the water (unless this is simply the ruined shrine of Boethiah). I suppose a lot of the scrolls written in blood etc. are there for local colour. I particularly liked finding the corpse of Indiana Jones. That guy was always too cocky by half. Serve him right! Marxist ßastard
1) That isn't a quest, just meant to be something relatively spooky for a low-level charachter. The atronach appears right when you read the last note. 3) That's part of the "Restore Power to the Skaal" quest in Bloodmoon. 4) Supposedly, that's just a smal tribute to someone who died during the production of the game. ...And if you want another corpse, go to Mudan and search around for the remains of Peke Utchoo (Read: Pikachu). This one even has a somewhat funny story attatched to it.
HeLLL
If I understand correctly <please correct me if Im wrong> Pop Je was a well respected RPG gamer/designer who commited suicide. <I rmeber reading this on rpgdot sometime ago.>
Malchik
Marxist male without a father I found the water of life in a cave on the mainland before Bloodmoon was released. I can't for the life of me remember where though! When I come across it in my latest game, I'll post it. Anyone else gets there first please remind me. I've played Bloodmoon and don't recall having to go back to the mainland to solve any of the main quests but it's been a while so maybe I've forgotten. But bear in mind:- I am totally infallible, except when I make mistakes! Gruss Gott
GrizzlyUK
6 ) Yep, it's just a reference to the sunken shrine of Boethiah.

Pob
. The named corpse in the locked room at the bottom of the Morag Tong guild in Balmora I think this may have a relevance to one of the quests somewhere 9imaybe a House Redoran one) as I am sure I remeber finding the body, but it could be another body in another cellar. I have also found the ashes of Lord Byrne (I think) and they appear to have no relevance
cmac
None of the ashes have any quest ties, but they always have some nice enchanted rings or glass throwing stars... I may be wrong as well, but I heard that Pop Je was a frequently contributing member of the Morrowind Boards.
