1a2a3a4a Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 Okay hi so I downloaded an armor (I believe it was called alirs armor? it was probably this armor) and it says it requires the HGEC body well I download that install it with OBMM and then I double click it. Then it gives me a box that says underwear versions or nude versions I click underwear because I have a 12 year old brother who as well plays oblivion. then It gives me another option of Normal,EBE. or Fighter. I then click normal. Well when I start Oblivion up and I locate the armor in my inventory I equip one of the items for example I would equip "Alirs Bra" and then my characters chest disappears even if I were to equip the gloves from the set my hands disappear as well. This doesn't happen for all clothes/armor but only things that require HGEC body mod. so will someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Also please exuse my noobiness xP
VictoriaG Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 Sounds like the meshes are missing for those particular armor/clothing mods, have you checked the mods to see if you've extracted the required meshes and textures to the correct location in your oblivion/data directory?

VictoriaG Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 Sounds like you've just activated the esp but not put the meshes and texture folders in the data folder? Looking at the Alir mod it looks for them in the following locations: Oblivion\Data\Meshes\ALIR\Oblivion\Data\Textures\ALIR\Oblivion\Data\Textures\Menus\Icons\ALIR\ Just open the archive and extract the two folders into your data dir and choose yes to overwrite.

VictoriaG Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 You mentioned that you've already installed HGEC, this should be compatible so I would just check the files are in those locations then load the game and test.

1a2a3a4a Posted October 29, 2010 Author Posted October 29, 2010 Doesn't this need archive invalidation?How do I do that?
VictoriaG Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 There's an option within OMM or you can do this: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10724
