looking for a "map marker" type mod

I've visited places but can't get though because of tough enemies or locks I can't open yet and wanted to come back later, but I tend to forget which place it was. It would be great if I could mark them or un-tag them as "visited" so I remember to go back there again.

Is there a mod around that could help me with that?

Why don't you just open up Geck right after you saw the name of the place, and create a map-marker? And just add as you play? :)
