jallard
Hi! I just tried to install the fomm_0_12_6-640 and all of its related files, but for some reason it won't install. I get the following error message: It just tells me to read the readme file? So, I have read it and I am still confussed? Can someone give me a hand. Perhaps it is my senilty that's preventing me from unsterstanding? Thanks. Jallard

Jallard Having read most of the threads on the fomm_0_12_6-640b and the difficulty with said mod, perhaps it is just best that I just have my female character run around in just her panties: and, forget about the mods. I couldn't even install the Female-Nude-Painspike_Armor-update-410. My system wouldn't allow it. I even followed the instrutions to the letter. It just would not unzip it into the proper folder. I guess using mods for my Fallout 3 just isn't meant to be. Damn, I was looking forward to it too! Thanks.

I guess using mods for my Fallout 3 just isn't meant to be. Damn, I was looking forward to it too! Thanks. No, I am running on Windows Home Premium 7 (32 bit). It is some what confusing too, whenever I type in "Fallout.ini" to change the file bInvalidateOlderFiles=0 to a 1, two different .ini files always appeares. Just a few minuter (or ann hour or so ago) I had to uninstall and reinstall Fallout 3: and, after installing Patch 1.07 and changing the the file to bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 it crashed the game. I went to start a new game and all I got was a black screen. So, I an currently in the process of reinstalling it from Gamespy--for the third time today. Part of the problem is that I really don't know what the heck I am doing. Although, I didn't have any problems when I installed mods into my Dragon Age Origins game, which I have since stopped playing. It's kind od discouraging. I wanted to install a nude mod or mods, just for kicks and giggles. However, I really do appreciate your response. Thank you.
TehBuddha
Windows 7 still has UAC, right? Where did you install it to? :
jallard
Windows 7 still has UAC, right? Where did you install it to? :3 I have no idea what UAC is or what it means: although, it does sound familar?!? I do know that I was able to change the 0 to a 1 in the Fallout.ini. I am getting a little tired of installing and uninstalling Fallout 3. However, I still can't install the BrurpoBABEMK3_wNudeMod mod?!? Once again I have uninstalled it and am now reistalling it. I am not an expert at this. Although, as I stated before, I had no problems with installing mods into Dragon Age Origins. I am really hoping that I can find help in getting these mods installed as I am going to be installing my new AFX ATI Radeon 6850 on monday, when it arrives. It would really be nice to play Fallout 3 with BrurpoBABEMK3_wNudeMod installed. Can you assit? I would really appreciate it immensely. Thank you. Jallard UPDATE: Whenever I try to unzip the folders into the ArchiveInvalidation folder, like it wants me too--according to the readme file-- I get some kind of administrator error message. I can't remember verbatim.

Right click FOMM exe file and run as administrator, should install.2. Once installed right click FOMM icon and go to Properties,Compatibility, then tick run as administrator. (I have Windows 7 might be different on Vista)3. Open FOMM click Package Manager, Add FOMod, Select the file you want to install.4. Once installed click the mod you just installed in the package manager window, Click Activate.5. Close the Package Manager window, On the main FOMM window click Toggle Invalidation, Remove archive invalidation click yes.6. Click on Toggle Invalidation again now apply.7. Start the game. Thanks, I will try that, just as soon as Fallout finishes installing, again. Incidentally, I found out what you meant by UAC and set it to never notify. Now I just need to restart my system--after fallout is resinstalled. Thanks again for your help.
