Tiberiu911
Hmph. Raistlin cold yellow hourglass eyes turn to Daeron. He, as well as Falcath, was awaiting an explanation.
RedRocketTM
"All right then... I guess it's time for me to tell you the truth about this place..."Daeron speaks up with a calm voice, for a moment watching the stranger's changing. Nothing to be worried about though, so he rests his head on an elbow, finally beginning to explain:"You know how you both got here. There doesn't have to be a reason. Me for myself. I simply ran into an unknown forest to appear here. And as I said before, you will never be able to go back. We're all kinda trapped in this place, and some people even say this might be the world of all dead. Heaven or hell, you have to find out for yourself, but as you might die here too, I don't think that this is the right compare. In fact, this world holds more you could ever imagine. That little 'trick' with the tea would work with anything else too, but only in this house. So that's why I told you to be careful with your wishes. Oh and always stay on guard, you'll never know who you might encounter."For a moment he remains stil, watching the reactions of his new fellows. "And one last thing, stay away from the sea, as there lives a huge monster, that doesn't like to be interrupted in whatever it does. If you need water, get it here. I mean... you could always try to kill it, but up until now, nobody actually dared to."He then adds with a grin, leaning back again with his eyes closed."If there's anything else you'd like to know, don't mind to ask." ((Added an order to the first post, please check it out. ^^))
CJD
silence fell upon the room, the thing that called itself Daeron, seemed to be looking for the words. Falcath got impatient. He pulled out his sword, seeing both of them leap on defense. He let out a laugh as he started to clean it. TODAY! would be nice, I hav to get back to my army. and u seem to be the 1 that could tell me how i get out of here Falcath, caught a smile on the mage, Falcath threw his sword, piercing a nearby orange. Falcath retrieved his sword and his prize. eating as he continued cleaning his sword.
Tiberiu911
Then neither of you are of any use for me, are you? Hmph. Very well, if for eternity I am to be stuck here, might as well go study this world. Im sure you have a book that could teach me something in this library. Raistlin approaches the bookself and starts looking for answers. For him, the two individuals dont even exist anymore. He finds a book and places it on the table. He observes the warrior, who is eating an orange out of his sword. How barbaric. The dark elf is where he was, with the same narrowed look on his face. Just as he expected, the characters in the book where not in basic language. His lips move, yet no sound gets out. Blue light flies from his fingertips and hits the book, resulting in a huge explosions of colors. The letters change in an ancient arcane language used by mages several thousands years ago. Daeron seems to be disturbed by the light. I thoug I told you not to repeat that! Raistlin simply ignores him. He takes a seat. His greed for power and knolegde has got the best of him. Hebegins studing a book of geography of what seems to be this "mystical land". A few minutes later, something seems to have caught Raistlin's attetion. Daeron, what is this? In this book there is mention of an artifact of great power hidden here, in the north, by the sea. A spellbook. Wait. There are more. It also says that 3 great swords where once forged on this very same land, but something happened... Falcath turned his eyes away from the orange and came by Raistlin, looking over his shoulder. RedRocketTM
((Very good idea Tiberiu, you took mine up and made it even better! Oh and I just figured out a red line, meaning that I do already have a plot for this whole thing, but stil, any new idea that would make it more long lasting and add even more tension to it is highly appreciated. ^^)) With a deep sigh Daeron covers his eyes again."I thought I told you not to repeat this!"He bursts out, simply overhearing Raistlins last comment. He would see how far he'll get on his own. It's not that the dark elf thinks himself a good aid, but anyways, someone to acompany another individual in this world is better than nothing, and he'll get used to appreciate that by the time he'll accept his new situation. When the mage ignores him, he gets little upset, finally standing up."You..."He makes effort to say something, but then is interrupted by Raistlin, pointing at the book. "Daeron, what is this? In this book there is mention of an artifact of great power hidden here, in the north, by the sea. A spellbook. Wait. There are more. It also says that 3 great swords where once forged on this very same land, but something happened..." Another sigh, before he follows Falcath placing himself right behind the mage to lean over his shoulder, now watching the book too. Obviousely, the sighns shown up on the pages make no sense to him, but Raistlins words were enough anyway."Mhm... I thought we're of no use to you?"he asks first, willing to draw the whole thing into the length for a little fun. Slowly he strokes aside a single strand of his long white hair, to uncover one of his pointed ears. There truly is an old legend, although nobody ever thought it might be true, or even took the adventure to find out."Maybe I should tell you..."Daeron finally murmures thoughtfully, changing a quick view with Falcath at his side. It would not be good to upset him again, he figures out, and therefore he walks back to his chair to sit down again."There is a long forgotten legend, that tells about this artefacts indeed."He begins slowly, trying to remember what he has been told years ago."As you might imagine, I've spend half my life in this world. One day I just ran into an elf who knew a lot of intresting stories about this place, as he was born here. Unfortunately I've never seen him again, maybe he was the first trying to find out the truth and who'd have to pay with his life. Anyway, one of his tales said something about the 3 elemantal blades, which would only unseal their power in combination to the secret book of earth. The mighty blade of fire, the mighty blade of ice and the mighty blade of lightening were supposed to be found in a fortress on a secret isle in the middle of the sea."Daeron pauses, breathing out deeply. Then without him saying a word, a bowl full of juicy fruits appears in front of him. With a light grin he reaches for an apple, starting to eat in all serenity."Oh almost forgot... remember the kind of sea serpent I told you about before? I don't think it would be pleased if anybody tried to cross his lair by boat or just swimming."He points out laughing after a while, his mouth stil filled with peaces of his apple. After he calmed down again and finished eating the fruit he sets up a thoughtful face."Wait, there's more..."He seems to remember, closing his eyes for short. It is said that only the legendary knights of moonlight may be able to unleash the real power of those artefacts, as the secret book of earth is written in a strange, long forgotten language and letters. It must be one's destiny to find those blades and the book. The ones predestined to wear these blades will know what the book says once they look at the pages, even if the letters appear unreadable to them. I guess it would be a great risk to go and check it out on our own, wouldn't it? But also, I have the strange feeling that you'll go and seek for the artefacts no matter what... I cannot hold any of you back, hum?"He first looks into the eyes of the mage, then turns to Falcath. Really, it appears that they'd be willing to take the chance for adventure, and at least Daeron wouldn't stay behind, if they'd decide to begin their seek. Maybe nothing of this is true, he didn't hear anything about those weird knights of moonlight at all, and even if it was true, none of them would belong to them, or would they? He doesn't know, but what if? The dark elf shakes his head again, letting out a gentle giggle. On the other hand, stil there's that monster, supposingly just guarding the isle, which is always hidden by the fog which appears in the far above the sea. Well, he'll find out anyway, so why worry now? Remaining stil, he awaits the reaction of his new companions.
CJD
Falcath, after hearing of this "legend", walks of. He looks out the door. He turns exchanging glances with both of his "companions". Well, as long as i get to kill something, and feel its blood on my hands. I dont care what we do. He lets out a triumpant laugh. He quickly turns dead serious. his face completely emotionless. But, my equipment is battered and must be repaired, and as hard as it is for me to admit... I am tired, and must rest. I will set of on this adventure, in 3 days, whether any of u choose to join me is up to u. You all could prove useful, im sure....somehow his words were true. he didnt kno these people very well, but he knew they were powerful. It would be nice to see exactly how powerful they were. Even if they bcame sheilds, against whatever was awaiting them, would be usefull enough. Falcath sat down and started polishing his sheild, fixing the dents in it with a hammer he produced from his pocket. He was ignoring the others now, for he couldn't care less for their answers. Tiberiu911
I couldnt care less what you will do. I will need time as well... Study this book I have to. Very well. We will met back here in 3 days. Raistlin casts a spell and he vanishes from the view of his companions. He sure is in a hurry.Tell me about it. Raistlin materialises himself in a grand tower, existing only to those who truly wish to see it. Its an anciant place, where high-mages go to, after fullfilling their studies and passing a quite dangerous Test. It would seem he is not alone in this tower. Doesnt matter, this is neutral ground, conflict between mages cant take place. His spell exhausted the last of his remaining energy. He must rest. Hmph, he laughts, in his dark room, of this weakness all mages share. Powerfull spells cost him more energy. Exhausting all his energy would mean but death. He closes his yellow eyes, and rests his head on the desk, the mystical book on his lap, as the dark mage falls asleep, for the first time in so very long. Its only a matter of time now. RedRocketTM
"Phew..."While watching Falcath repairing his equipment, Daeron remains where he was sitting. He knows this place well, too well for his taste. When Raistlin casts that spell, to just dissappear, he sighs again."You're both not exactly the company one could wish for, you know?"He addresses Falcath directly then, although he doesn't really await an answer, as the fighter seems to ignore him. "All right then... You should know, that if this legend is true, there will be no way to finish the quest alone."Pointing out this, he crosses his arms, leaning forward, so that he could rest his head upon his arms."Anyway... I'll follow... but don't expect me risking my life to protect yours, as long as you... hah! Forget about it... I'll follow, this must do."
CJD
3 days passed quickly. Falcath rose from his bed in full armor. He was always in it, for a reason noone will ever find out. He equipped his sword belt, and ran out the door, passing Daeron on the way by. for the past 2 days he had been training day and night. On his morning "battle" run, he was thinking. What did await him? where are the Knights of the Moonlight? his questions continued, as he jumped, and dodged the traps he had set up. He ran up a tree, to see the view. nothing but forest, it was forest for at least 20 miles, in every direction, the exception being the clearing, where Daeron's "cabin" was. He hopped from tree to tree. and leaped, landing in a crouched position directly bfore the steps. as he walked in he saw Daeron, ready with his sword, and a full bag of equipment on his back. Falcath travelled light, he, his armor, and his sword, was all he ever travelled with, food he could hunt. He walked over, and picked up his sheild, he was set. The mage had yet to show, they gave up waiting, and walked out the front door, only to find him waiting with a frown on his face. He had been waiting for us, he thought as he walked past him. We're all set I see, lets get going, we have a lot of ground to cover. he looked behind him, seeing the others follow him, obviously unhappy that he elected himself as the leader. He was a General, he was a leader...was.
Tiberiu911
((OOC il add some pictures in later post to make my Raistlin more alive :) )) Raistlin woke up, in his tower of high sorcelly. he had sleep for how long? He cant tell. The sun is rising. He had slept all night. Good. He opened his book, and started reading. He didnt left that place until very late at night, when someone knocks at the door. ''We have a newcommer, now dont we?'' In front of Raistlin lies a mage whose robes are dark as the night, and his eyes are red as fire. A dark elf. ''What are you doing here, in my towe... NO! It cant be... Arch-Mage Raist... Rais.. Raistlin! '' Ah. Yes I remember you, Disk. I always wondered where that spell sent you. Guessed I found out, traitoros scum. How dare you appear in my sight! ''Im sorry, my master.. Im sorry, my.. Wait a minute. I dont need to obey to you, Raistlin!'' To challange a dark mage with his energy at maximum, during the night, where the moon has its place in the sky and fills him with more magical energy, is a terrible mistake. Fool. In a split second, a fireball of the size of a house is released from Raistlins fingers, taking away half the tower with it. Disk is reduced to ashes. Raistlin has a seat and begins his lecture. Several hours later, he notices something wich catches his attention. Well Well Well... Hahahahaa... How amusing. Yes.... Two more days pass and he teleports himself back to where his ''companions' are waiting for him. He appears there to find the room empty. Several minutes later, the duo arrives. We're all set I see, lets get going, we have a lot of ground to cover. Raistlin thinks... Yes this is perfect, warrior. Take the lead, take it. Hahahahahahaa...
