no sound during sex? HELP

i was thinking maybe they banned it from certain countries and I had my steam location as "vatican city" haha

 

other than that i can't figure it out. i had sound during one encounter. now no sounds. also no sounds during animated prostitution. please help me if you can.

animated prostitution has no sound to begin with. while i appreciate the effort, i think it's a pretty lame mod as it alters all of your interactions with NPCs, and the 'sex' part is boring and horribly animated, and causes apparel bugs. it's interesting from a GECK dev point of view, but nothing else.

but i just wanted the sound effects for the regular encounters. like the robot and red lucy make their own sounds.

Wiki says Red Lucy does have sound after completing her quest. There are sex sounds throughout Gammora(sp) and Atomic Wrangler.

 

Also the latest version of FO3 Animated Pro has sounds but probably not the NV version but I don't know about NV yet and haven't checked it for updates lately for NV.

If you had it in one encounter then it's likely a bug in the game? I have sound bugs often with not hearing npc dialog and when loading in some areas. I can usually get it to kick back in by either reloading, hitting ~ twice while in npc dialog, or bringing up the pipboy and clicking on and off the radio. The latter kicks in the radio in the areas, whereas before that radios can't be heard.

 

It's all weird I know, but it's what I've had to go through...

I am having the same problem, none of the vanilla sexual encounters have any sound. All of them are supposed too, I checked in the GECK. I have encountered no other sound bugs so far, the sound's themselves are ambient .ogg files I tried installing K-lite Codec Pack to get them to play but had no luck.

 

Might try other codecs in a little while.

NV has some serious sound issues throughout, if you have not experienced this consider yourself very fortunate. Most of the sound issues can be corrected with updated drivers, I know in my case, it fixed a great deal. As to the AP, there was a sound set for it done for FO3, by a British girl, the recording quality was horrible, but at least it worked. If you look into the AP versions for FO3, you should be able to find the sound set under optional downloads.

Just met up with Joana(?) no sounds on the fade to black. I'm in a constant state of no sounds from NPC's and me fiddling to get the voiced dialogs to kick back in. Maybe I'll buy a new sound card, but at the moment, if this keeps up, even with awesome mods out I'm iffy on another play through... :(

Tried making a workaround, I converted the vanilla sex sounds into WAV format put them in a folder in my data directory and made a ESP that makes the game play the sounds when it fades to black. the problem is I can only get it to play one of the sound files. Normally in vanilla two sound file's are selected randomly to be played during the fade away, with the second one playing a few moments after the first.

 

Is there any way to get it to play the sounds like it does vanilla?
