I have fose, darn, UIO, adjustable and immersive HUDs installed, nothing else it's a new game, however I noticed main subtitles are practically in the middle of the screen. Now it's been awhile playing FO3 and I've grown accustomed to having menus done my way with FO4 and Skyrim mods, I can't remember if it was always like this? Is there a way to lower the captions, say in the ini's for example?

I'm pretty sure LE is just the original version. I am playing the original Skyrim and I purchased the dlc's all separately. I'm assuming you are using this mod? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/104587 If it is that then it requires Dragonborn & Hearthfire as well. If you know otherwise then look up Nexus Mod Manager or Vortex and install it through that. I'm not much help there as I am still running an old version of Nexus Mod Manager. You can install the files manually but I believe you still need to activate the .esp which I think you can do through the games default launcher? But learning how to use a mod manager is your best bet.

Yep. That ini edit and papyrus addition from the Tweak Guide mod saved my game. I don't know what all the other nay sayers are saying. I've played longer now then when I started having issues and crashes and saves that wouldn't load.

Yeah no mods, cleaned out Appdata, NMM folder that holds onto mods, and my doc folders that holds the saves and inis. Run directly from the .exe to start the new game. Just baffled. I was playing not 2 months ago.

Only thing that changed from my last time playing to the reinstall, reinstall again (to properly remove the lingering mods in NMM that I initially missed), and the not recognizing hardware and not launching, was a Windows 10 update.

Yeah before I would first launch and it sets to low settings, probably because not familiar with type of new card etc., however now it doesn't recognize at all which is an issue I've seen with others on google as well...

Hi, previous uninstall I removed from AppData, and have hidden folders selected to view. Nothing in there now as I double checked anyways. I've uninstalled/reinstalled many times over the years and have never been as thorough as this one. I'm still using NMM v 6.1 I've never transitioned over to vortex or MO as there was a lot of complaints about them in the early days so always just stuck with NMM, however I haven't launched it in NMM with this install, I have been launching the games .exe just to get the initial game running. All previous mods that NMM stores have been deleted too. Thanks for some input

Well almost 15 years in with Nexus mods this may well be the end run with me and Bethesda games. Issues with all of them now. SSE FONV( I know not Beth) FO4. With FO4 I've done a reinstall, deleted all associated folders in /doc in /main and all the mods. Had some mod issues so decided to start fresh. I launched the game and out of the gates it won't recognize my card. Launch it anyways on low settings and hangs prior to the PC creation screen or likely war never changes intro. Have to Alt Tab out. Specs: RAM 16GB AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core 3.59 GHZ Windows 10 Radeon RX 590 I've already played hours with this system....(!?!) I've tried it offline from steam. Drivers are updated. Ran as Admin. Tried compatibility modes W7 W8. Verified files with Steam. Not sure what else to do at the moment since no mods are running and never had this issue ever with any system I've owned. I always could play vanilla. Any help I'll try, as I mentioned I'm sadly at my end with Beth games now which likely = Nexus mods :( . No more time with putting in hours just to resolve issues. Thanks!

Isn't this My_Minutemen.esp an old version? Hasn't that been change to WATMinutemen.esp? This video has been my go to vid on any new playthrough in using WATM and if you're comfortable in using edit.

This was my modded New Vegas, pitch black at night and completely unplayable even with a pipboy light on with a 10x illumination mod. Yeah that's not realism. Fortunately the mod came with a 'brighter" nights that was actually more fitting to real life. I did a quick search and didn't find others with the same issue from an unmodded game. For me objects go black after an hour or more of gaming and it will ctd after a save when it gets to that point. I expect it now. Upon relaunch the game is fine and nothing is black anymore.

Never had issue with that. One area for me is Red Rocket I am never able to scrap the trash under the workbench in the garage.

Like LucidLady I collect things like flip lighters, gold flip lighters, 8 balls, silver lockets, pre war money, dog tags, and gold watches, and I drop them all into either a shopping basket or a wood crate. Each type gets it's own collection container. I use the mod I believe Place Anywhere and I turn off their physics so that they don't go flying everywhere if I bump into them.

Some people have had troubles with Good Neighbour. I've used before with no issues. I am going to use it again this play through but I am waiting until I get there before I install the mod.
