TotallyNotToastyFresh
You can replace them but then you're screwing up all the other guns that use it. The only way to do it I think is to replace an anim that only one gun uses, say, This Machine (because it's the only gun of it's kind) and just replace that gun with yours. Animating is apparently very difficult, also.
zorphon
Just out of curiosity, what do you texture IN? I've always wanted to try texturing a gun or something, but I don't know any programs/tutorials. Thanks! Also; that is a gorgeous 1911! Good job. MeNoChinese
GIMP is better. But, photoshop is chill.
Strobelight
See, i'm exactly the opposite with you man. I'm hopeless at 3d modelling and textures but I have the know how to get it into the game. The format New Vegas uses are .NIF 3D Models in the Meshes directory (GameBryo style models) and the generic file format for the textures are .dds. These can easily be converted through different programs and I have a variety of them. Photoshop is great, but it costs, so GIMP is an alternative. And have a look at NIFSkope. Can I ask, what file format are your models and textures currently in?
