[Mod Request] Skill based attribute bonuses.

Instead of choosing what attribute that I would like to give a small bonus to every level, I would like the attributes to improve as a improve my different skills.

For example:

Improvements in Archery, One Handed and Two Handed skills would increase your stamina pool as well as improve stamina regeneration.

Improvements in Blocking would increase your health and stamina pools, as well as improve stamina regeneration.

Improvements in Light Armor and Heavy Armor would increase your health pool.

Improvements in Alteration, Illusion, Restoration, Conjuration, and Destruction would increase your magicka pool as well as improve magicka regeneration.

Improvements in Smithing, Sneak, Alchemy, Enchanting, Speech, Lockpicking, and Pickpocket would not improve any attribute because those skills don't use any attribute.

Having this kind of system is also good for roleplaying.

It means that if a mage wants to increase his/her health pool, they have to spend time wearing armor or blocking hits with a shield. Most mages won't want to do that so their health in general will be very low; which means that they die quicker when hit. This forces the mage to do their best to avoid taking damage if at all possible, and also to always have their mage armor spells up and running.

It means that a warrior will have very little magicka for casting spells like oakflesh, courage, or even healing unless he spends time improving his magic skills. It will be essential for the warrior to carry tons of potions to stay alive.

It also means that the thief won't have much ability to fight in melee combat, nor will he/she be able to cast spells like muffle and invisibility. Staying hidden will be essential for survival in their travels.

Might want to take a look at this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/56416/?

It doesn't do exactly what you say, but it does tie stat increases to specific skill increases rather than arbitrarily deciding when you level up.

and you still have to choose an attribute bonus at level up, not what i was thinking.

Only because the game forces the pop up box to make a choice. That box can't be scripted out unfortunately. The choice made there is just to clear it so you can pick your perk.
