SonicEchoed Posted February 10, 2015 Share Posted February 10, 2015 So...I've been trying to start up New Vegas but as soon as the start menu starts to come up it just crashes. I'm not sure if it has anything do do with mods or whatnot. I don't have many installed, just a few weapon mods, a few companion mods, a quest mod, a clothing mod and a radio mod so that I can listen to classical music as an 8 year old Boomer describes his dreams of committing mass genocide. If I can't get this resolved I'm just going to sit in my house wrapped in a blanket in front of my T.V. and eat tubs of vanilla ice cream for the rest of my life. You really need to give more info on what mods you have installed what you have tried to do to fix the issue. Does the game load with all mods disabled? people can't and won't be able to help if all you say is "My game is crashing! how do I fix it!" chucksteel Posted February 10, 2015 Share Posted February 10, 2015 (edited) It's ok to be new! your using NMM right? turn off all mods and launch the game! If it loads turn on a few but not all mods and launch the game. If it loads, turn on a few more! Rinse and repeat until you find the problem mod. You don't seem to have a long load order so this should be easy. you can also get FNVedit and use it to load all your mods! It should (If your missing a master) error out at the problem mod But your new so I would do the baby step method first. Once you find the mod causing the issue look at it's readme and see if you missed something when installing it. I don't know most of the mods you have so I can't just look and see if your missing something but someone else may. Not at all meaning to sound rude and I hope I didn't come off as such but again people can't help with out good info. My computer's running a little slow so I think I'll let it rest and try early tomorrow morning.
