SgtSpaghettios
Okay.. So.. I'm looking for a mod that can change the archery style to one similar to FarCry 3 Anyone familiar with FarCry3 will know that an arrow is rested on the bow at all times, left clicking drawing the bow, right clicking aiming your shot and reload ( R ) cancelling the draw. (see image) I know that two similarities the games share is that "R" cancels the draw and holding a button and releasing draws and fires the shot, but...I much prefer the idea of having an arrow resting on the bow ready to be fired. It seems a lot more realistic imo. Also the idea that un-aimed shots can be fired off quicker than aimed shots (but do less damage perhaps) would be good. Is there any mods already out there like this or any interest in one being made? kthnx  Edited February 10, 2015 by SgtSpaghettios
DoctorKaizeld
Also the idea that un-aimed shots can be fired off quicker than aimed shots (but do less damage perhaps) would be good.this is a feature already in the game man... It seems a lot more realistic imo.more realistic for people who dont know how to use a bow maybe... the fact that the DB doesnt hold one at all times is far more realistic. now to have the ability to ready an arrow prior to combat would be a better feature. SgtSpaghettios
this is a feature already in the game man... I meant without raising the bow. So in a way, three ways to fire arrows. 1. Lowered bow position, no aiming (close range, fast fire rate, lower damage) 2. Raised bow (Standard firing, medium range, standard damage) 3. Fully aimed shot (Skill tree ability, long range, bonus damage) the fact that the DB doesnt hold one at all times is far more realistic. now to have the ability to ready an arrow prior to combat would be a better feature. That would work. Kind of what I was shooting for really. A way of placing an arrow on your bow ready to draw. I just find it odd that you ready a bow but not an arrow. Plus, keeping arrows in your hand after cancelling a draw. Seems a damn sight more convenient than putting it back in your quiver only to have to pull another. Anything else? Edited February 10, 2015 by SgtSpaghettios

SgtSpaghettios
From what I can find of archery mods its all based on either adding new types of bow (Something I've already done with the ImmersiveWeapons mod), or the physics of it all. :/
