dwemer metal scrap, guar hides, netch leather...

hey all, im just a bit confused because in the "Dividing Line" weapons and armor shop in Leyawiin the guy seems to be selling no armor at all. instead, he sells weapons and misc items such as dwemer scrap metal, guar hide, and netch leather - are these items supposed to be in oblivion or not? because im pretty much annoyed at not being able to see him sell armor and only these misc stuff. btw if ever these items (guar hides, dwemer scrap metal) are a part of the game, what are they supposed to be for? thanks all!

THat's a part of COBL Glue, the various Morrowind clutter. I don't know why it'd be overwriting his armor wares, though.

Ohh. lol thanks for that, was wondering why I had it. any idea though of what it is for, like, can it be used for something? or is it merely a misc item as it is?

I believe most of COBL's ingredients can be used for alchemy, but beyond that I have the impression that they're for decoration and lore purposes. Just to avoid having to explain why moonsugar somehow got completely used up between Morrowind and Oblivion, a scant 17 years.

Actually, the leather and metal you're finding on some vendors is a part of OOO, and can be used to make your own armor. I've just never bothered trying to figure out how to do it.

 

Also, I think it's only been 6 years between Morrowind and Oblivion, in-game.

YOu're right, I'm thinking of Star Wars. I never used OOO, though. COBL does add in the items, however, if you use Glue. At least I know it adds in classic Morrowind ingredients, like Coda Flowers and Netch Leather.
