CTD when I open a book

I installed bookplacing using Bain. Unforunately, my system started crashing whenever I opened a book. I unistalled Book Placement and Book Covers mods, but I still CTD every time I click on a book. What could be causing the game to crash whenever I try to read a book?

Bookplacing, as I understand it, modifies default books, and therefore will conflict with any other mod that also alters stock Oblivion books.
