Kieran, i give the password to the guard outside, and get permission to enter, i go to the door and immediately CTD. I also tried getting past the guard using speech abilty, but same result. Has anyone else experienced this? WinXP sp39800 GTX
pchefkent Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 i also have a bug with this quest. but it starts with orrick when he get to the part where he shoots some thugs he just stands there and does nothing. i think i found out what was causing this particular bug, when i gunned dwon one of the thugs he immediately went hostile and reloaded. He may not have had ammo in his gun to start with.
Ricamundo Posted November 4, 2010 Author Posted November 4, 2010 I found out why i had those CTD's, i think. I had installed a gun shop mod in Freeside that opened up an abandoned building with a shop called "Cums Guns And Casino". I deactivated this mod, and i was able to gain entry to the building where Major Kieran was handing out supplies to NCR citizens living in Freeside. Now this bug may not happen to others but that is how i was able to solve it.
