Akkikiri
Okay, so i know how to make buildings, make interiors, link them, and set up map markers and things like that. My problem: Map Coordinates. The CS only gives numbers and vague visuals. I can tell the terrain, but not where I am. Any help or tips? I just don't want to have to try EVERY SINGLE PAIR of coordinates just to see where they are, you know what I mean? Thanks a lot in advance! David Brasher
I find it easiest to have a play-tester on the ground. If I am looking for a spot for my new dungeon, I have my character walk around and find a good one. Then I look at the map and see that, for example, I am 4 city diameters south-east of Bruma. I look for other map locations and directions. I look at the local landmarks. (I am by two large rocks with snow on them in the bare patch with no trees.) Then I save and close the game. I go into the CS and start at Bruma or whatever else has a name and is closest. I try to find my two large rocks and bare patch with no trees. If I can't find the place, I place a mapmarker anyway. Then I go back into the game and see that my mapmarker is 1 city diameter south of where my character is standing. I go back into the CS, go north from my mapmarker a little bit and find the correct location.
