ive looked around etc at the inside, and ive sortof come across one of these secret rooms inside - i can see it on the map as a small yellow square saying "secret lab", but i cant actually find it in the house although its on the map...

sounds kinda silly :D bt cud n e 1 help??

The key is on the table next to the bed, it's under the candle :) then go to the hallway and click the plant :D

Oh yeah... all the really GOOD stuff in AF 2.0 is "downstairs", and there's a lot of it to be seen.

 

As for money, I thieve quit a bit and enchant quite a bit - the former paying for the latter - so I'm typically carrying quite a few drakes around at any given time. There's really no set amount you "should" have at any particular level though.

 

And as for swords, I typically carry a few: a real "heavy hitter" or two that do some massive damage, and one more for disposing of rats and the like (an Ebony Short Sword, for example (no need to be wasting those enchantment points on rats and ogrim's and such!)). I also try to carry one blunt weapon (typically a mace) and an axe, just help build my stats up in those areas. Never been much of one for spears or staves (except the one I enchanted with Vivec's soul (my BIIIIG Stick)) so I rarely carry them.
