Lellandra
I open game in windowed mode for that scene and make window really small. It works for me.
fozzibab
Can confirm that disabling all mods in the mod manager and merging a clean instance with just the official patch works to solve this annoying issue. Also, it appears safe to re-merge all the mods again once you're back in control.
Vandread83
Can confirm that putting it in window mode. When the screen goes white, make the window extremely small and the cut scene will continue. Didn't disable modes at all.
csabati2
Can confirm that putting it in window mode. When the screen goes white, make the window extremely small and the cut scene will continue. Didn't disable modes at all. I can also confirm this. Tried this at med preset quality with 720 res. Will try later at higher settings. EDIT: Got it to work in 720 full screen with max settings except for texture quality. Texture quality was set to medium. naomis8329
I find it somewhat sad that after 13 months since I started this post, the issue is still there. One would think that Bioware or Dice would at least look into this and come up with a solution. Considering how the series has been received since its initial release (when a tool kit was released and some amazing mods were created) one would have thought that they would have cultivated this phenomenon. Considering also how gaming was devised on the PC (I remember my father's BBC computer and playing Cricket and Football Manager using 'X's and writing/problem solving in a book and having to also use a tape recorder we also played an amazing tennis game) one would have hoped that PC user's would be treated with some respect. I can't play on a console any more due to the controllers. I play games entirely on the computer and have done since discovering Morrowind way back when :) Who knows maybe the Maker will intervene and the powers that be will come up with something to enable us to create and play mods to the fullest. cruorcorvus
I did everything this girl said to do: Â created a new folder, merged it with the new path, put in on UPDATES folder, did all that crap and the game ran beautifully without mods.Saved it.Went to change mod path and get my mods back and ...DAI Manager refuses to load. It doesnt launch at all. Crashes immediately.I already removed the empty folder in the updates, repaired the game at least 3 times and...its useless. Now i'm modless with a character that freaks me out just to look at her face.Mod Manager was working perfectly well before! WTF.DID ANYONE had this problem?!I even tried to download Mod manager again but guess what, its even worse. It doesnt have the Launch button!!!!I'm freaking out and loosing my mind. KalleMeier
Thank YOU!!!!! Clean merge worked perfectly! I was so freaking frustrated, almost threw away the game, but now it's great again.
DovakhiinFTW
This happened to me as well, VERY annoying and frustrating, but what seemed to solve it for me was simply tabbing out of the game, re-sizing the window by pulling manually at a corner and BOOM got the cutscene and could continue playing. Might not help for everyone but hey, easier than reinstalling s#*! right? Edited August 15, 2016 by DovakhiinFTW
