stars2heaven
Out of the well over 100 mods that I have this is the only one I can't figure out. It is marked as filter so Wryebash says that it should be deactivated and then merged, but it also has a NoMerge tag and it isn't on any of the merge lists. How is this mod supposed to be activated? Btw, the readme does not give any details on how the mods should be activated.
Smooth613
When something is tagged filter, nomerge it should be only virtually active. It will show up as a dot or + beside it instead of a check or ++. Fully merged will be a ++ and virtually active will be the dot. Wrye Bash will tell you when mods are marked NoMerge or Deactivate when you start to rebuild your patch. It will ask you if you want to deactivate them. Allow WB to deactivate it and continue to build your patch with the proper selections. When you are finished building the patch and then activate your Bashed Patch, any mod that is merged, either fully or partially, will activate with your Bashed Patch. So a ++ or dot will automatically show up. You don't have to do anything else. If it's tagged it will show up on your merge list. Ensure you are using a stable version of Wrye Bash. Right now 287 and 290 are considered fully functional and stable. You should avoid 288 and 289 at all cost. They have multiple bugs.
stars2heaven
I have a few other mods that are similar in that they are also tagged as filter as well. With those I had to import when I rebuilt the patch. They have the red dots, like you said. The mergable mods that I have have the green + marks beside them, and they are all listed under the merge category. But this one is not listed anywhere at all, neither in the merge or import categories. When I build the patch nothing happens to it at all, it just stays uncheck with no indication that it is active in any way. Im assuming that the bashed patch must be told to include it somehow, but at the moment I have no idea how. Also, I am using 287. I have actually had this issue for a very long time, I just never thought to ask about it until now. Before now I always just acitvated it myself, seeing as that is the only way I know how to do it right now. But I know that is not what should be done in this instance. My suspicion is that it doesnt have the tag that tells Wrye Bash where to put it. Some mods that I have that need to be imported have additional tags that tell me where they are; like scripts or climate, for instance. This one doesnt have such a tag though, so Im guessing WB just doesnt put it on a list. Of course, I dont have any idea where it belongs if that is the problem. Smooth613
What mod are you having problems with exactly? Provide me a download link and I'll have a look at it.
stars2heaven
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4387 The exact name of the .esp is the title. It is an optional file in the main download. This is it's description for what it does Tamriel Travellers Items NPC'sModifies my leveling system so that they use default level list from the game..Use this for Frans Leveled Items, OOOl, FCOM, Armamentarium, Sagerbliv's or any other mod that modfies default leveledist list (I am using FCOM) Thanks very much for the help, btw. This has always bugged me, I'm glad I may finally get this thing working the way it should
Hickory
You should see that entry in the Leveled Lists section when you rebuild your Bashed Patch. It only reverts the leveled list system for mods that alter the default leveled lists. It doesn't need to be active, Wrye Bash automatically reads the tags and applies them. Smooth613
Okay, I've taken a look. Hickory is correct. The ESP is properly tagged and shows up in the proper area, Leveled List. Just put a check mark in the Leveled List box and make sure Automatic is also checked within the Leveled List section. Rebuild Patch and you're good to go.
stars2heaven
Thanks a lot for the help. I had no idea that a mod could be activated in WryeBash in that way.
