FN Five Seven for New vegas

I was wondering if someone could make this gun as a mod in New Vegas:

FN Five-SeveN

Type: Autoloading Pistol (Semi-Auto only, No burst fire nor Automatic)

Caliber: 5.7x28mm

Weight(unloaded): 20 ounces

Length: 8.2" (4.8" barrel)

Height: 5.7"

Width: 1.4"

Capacity: 20 rounds

Its my favorite handgun so i really want it in the game.. not sure if it really fits with New Vegas look but ehh whatever.

I was wondering if maybe you could make it modifiable. Like adding a suppressor, LAM attachment and optional 30 round mag. since those are real life attachments.

Either by actual mod attachments like in-game(permanent) or maybe by the aid section like ive seen before with some guns(non-permanent). And i was wondering if you could make the LAM actually work. like it have the red laser. and even better if it could make the dot too but not sure if that is even possible. If you are to make the mod attachments be the permanent type, it would be cool if there was more than a few of these bad boys in the Mojave Wastelands =D

Also could it have its own ammo put in the game? the 5.7x28mm? idk if that is possible yet in Vegas, if not i can wait till that is possible. i rather it have its true ammo.

here is a link to the gun for more details about it: http://www.fnhusa.com/le/products/firearms/model.asp?fid=FNF003&gid=FNG001&mid=FNM0004

also here is a mod of the gun for Counter Strike: Source that is well made, if you want to port it or use it for a reference or whatever... it has the silencer and the LAM attachments already. plus the shooting sounds provided are correct and are what id like to have used:

Also for the specs: make it about 1.5Ibs for weight. So its close to how much it would way loaded. Damage probably about 35. Should be very accurate as well. its a very accurate handgun in real life.

The gun has AP(Armor Piercing) rounds and HP(Hollow Point) rounds in real life, so if it could have those ammo types to go along with its normal ammo like a lot of guns do in New Vegas then that would be just awesome =D

Also it must have animations. Shooting and reloading.

Any other details needed that i didn't provide then just let me know.

Thanks.

Dose the FN Five-SeveN even have armor piercing rounds? I though they just used FMJs, I know you can't buy the 5.7 FMJs because they are armor piercing they go right through a vest like a hot knife through butter.

Personally I'm a big fan of the FN Five-SeveN I shot one in real life and was instantly sold on the gun, I'm not a major fan of polymer guns, but the Five-SeveN is fantastic. I will say it would be cool if it had a 2 round burst but thats just my thoughts.

I think just "throwing the model into GECK" is not really that much work. I'm just confused with the Five-seven, i had the "honor" to shoot it in real life and didn't really find it a "gun to admire", rather average. Okay I'm also not a Glock fanboy, maybe you have to be a fan of these.

If you're really mad about it then get the FO3 mod and convert it. You could even replace some standard gun like the 9mm with it, so you'd encounter it fairly often. If you do it yourself it will be okay, but for "official" use you'd need the authors permission to post it here. Would be like 10 minutes of work...

Someone enlighten me what the fascination of this gun is. I remember playing 7.62mm and like discarding this gun when i looted it as it was just unnecessary weight. Well a gun I'd like to see is something like the "Automag 3", kinda cool to have a semi-automatic handgun that shoots terribly overpowered carbine rounds. Well I'd also love stuff like the "raging bull" although it would be of limited use in real life unless you often get attacked by dinosaurs. I guess the ranger sequoia is the NV version of the raging bull - or at least somethin close to it.

I like the FN Five-Seven when paired with the FN P90 because they're both chambered for the same round, making ammunition management a slight bit easier to deal with. I'm not saying I prefer it over the HK USP (I don't), but when paired with the P90, it's less ammunition types to worry about.

I really like the design of the P90, but in field it sucks as the barrel is way to short and accuracy is thus too low for longer ranges, so i regard it more as a "city" weapon. For hunting the caliber is also a bit too small. And for a pure machine pistol which it imho is it's a bit large. But still it would be a nice addition to a collection and if it's just for the style. However - if you already have a P90 i can't see why you should take a five seven with you, i find the P90 so light and small, it already qualifies as a side-arm. I think i even have a (kinda weird though) quickdraw holster for it somewhere around. Personally if i want some small caliber full auto I'd prefer a micro Uzi.

Back to topic - try to pm the author of the F3 mod if you can use the model. or maybe he could even release a NV mod for it. I'm sure if you ask politely he will agree.

The 5.7x28mm Duty round has armor-piercing properties; for this reason, I like the cartridge because I don't feel like I need to switch ammunition types to deal with armored

The FN P90 has a number of modification kits, including an extended barrel, etc. I think it's just fine as is, but it might also be because people tend to classify it incorrectly as an assault rifle, when, in reality, it's a submachine gun with armor-piercing capabilities, which, to me, makes it very feasible as a weapon when used for specific situations. It's not so much a hunting weapon so much as an urban combat weapon, which is fine because, in closer quarters, carrying an assault rifle can be somewhat problematic due to size and visibility constraints.

idk how to convert mods. how does that work? and i never knew Fo3 had that Five-SeveN mod.. definitely dling it for my Fo3 =D

and yes its regular ammo is in a way armor piercing because its known to go right through Kevlar but they do have armor piercing rounds that in a sense 'seal the deal' of piercing threw armors. and i have heard they also have a hollow point rounds as well but they are slightly different then your normal hollow point rounds for other weapons.

and i rather it be its own gun then a replace of the 9mil. Coz i like the 9mil as well =D specially coz i rather it have its true ammo.

i guess i could ask the author of that Fo3 mod if they wouldn't mind converting it over to NV. or if its okay for someone else too..

thanks for the info everyone

i hate to double post but what if the original author of the fo3 mod for the FN Five-SeveN doesn't convert it to New Vegas? its been a few days and i haven't had a response yet to my PM i sent. is there still anyone willing to take the time to whip this bad boy up? could make it even better than the fo3 one. even though that one is pretty sick. although the laser looked a bit off and i dont think it made a dot.. anyways anyone up to making this thing? or possibly some how getting the attention of the author of the fo3 version and see if they'll convert it or allow someone to convert and release?
