...Why try to censor our youth? Try to stop corruption? Look at the Church, and the US government. Where ever you look you find corruption. Our youth should know what is really going on.

Oh, wait, I get it now. Honestly, saying you were fourteen years old should've been a dead giveaway.

Everyone has gone through a period where they thought that there is a gigantic government conspiracy instituted ad hoc when you were born to limit your freedom and individuality, because you're a special and unique human being, and the perpetrators are "retards" that are jealous of you.

Only a very insignificant amount of these people retain this frame of mind and grow up to be Libertarians. Keep this in mind, or you'll do something you'll regret later on.

I said i was 15... and besides, I never said half the things you claimed I did. Yes, maybe my personality is unique, but we are all from the same blood. And who ever said anything about a government conspiracy? Bush is just a retard. If having the right to say that makes me think my freedoms are limited, then I guess they are, but you are just assuming. An who the hell is jealous of me? What is there to be jealous of? I live an average metiocre life in america. Yes, I would rather live elsewhere, but that is because of the high arrogant and prejudice people here. Plus, 2/3 are overweight people eating away our economy. As far as something I will regret later on, the only thing thus far is talking to you...

There's also Werewolves: The Curse of Hircine which takes that armor and turns it into a playable werewolf experiance thats close to the complexity of Bloodmoon's. But its in beta.

gosh , i need the armor ? but im lvl 10 and the Hiricine quest is for lvl 17 :( just wait.... couple more weeks.... Im very thankfull for creating this mod Cid88 !!!!!!

Man, I love the Hiricine experiance... slipping on the ring with my level 67 char, killing everyone in Caldera and Balmora... those were the days.... Ah, dozed off. Yeah, I would like a experiance similar to the one foound in Fable as far as a wife goes, but with better "intercourse". Why rate a game M, then have a black screen at the child making parts? Stupid ESRB...

oh bout what you guys are talking, im not sure that thats alright with the topic, but oh well. Oblivion gets rated M becouse of : this.

Blood and Gore- Thats trully Bulls#!t ! have you herd of Dungeon Siege 2 ? its rated M for 'blood and gore' only. And there you want to ask yourself 'WTH' ??? blood and gore... the movies are full of it, and yet rated pg 13.

Language - i dont know... all i ever heard was one engery nord in Bruma said "tight-ass imperials" or soomething like that. So thats not true. Maybe the language is just at high lvl of age so kids cant understand. Well DeeDeeDee's

Sexual Themes - I AM VERY VERY VERY AGAINST NAKED MODS IN OBLIVON ! if GUYS want porn, i dont know Google ? Yahoo ? and if its not a mod, theres just one Ork in DB saying that "I and Talendril.. you know ;) ... dont belive me ? I have her undergarments to prove it" so thats mostly bastards' fault. Yes, theyre frikin fault.

Use of alcohol - ROFL ;D Screw Skooma adicts ;D i killed them all. No seriosly, thats just funny. There is Alchohol, i never considered it to effect the game rating...Lol ;D

Violance - same as Blood and Gore. If you want a game without those two, how bout good old Mario Bros. ?

ow wait, did you see him killing those turtles ? isnt that like violance ??? how bout eating mashrooms - drugs/steroids ?

It only takes one category that deserves an "M" rating to drive the rating of the entire game up to "M." As the ESRB stated when they changed the Oblivion rating, the category that drove Oblivion over its target "T" rating was, obstensively, blood and gore.

Oblivion certainly has enough morally objectionable (to the retailers, remember) content in that category to warrant the rating:

  • A very essential part of the game is looting the corpses of fallen enemies, sometimes stripping them nude.
  • When high-damage hits are scored, blood splatters everywhere.
  • In dungeons, skeletons are everywhere, along with decapitated and impaled bodies.
  • In Oblivion, you must reach into what is insinuated to be a completely disemboweled corpse ("the punished") to gain items.
  • In Oblivion and as a vampire, you benefit from drinking blood. In Oblivion, this blood is spurted out from a fountain.
  • The game has at least two instances of torture that must be committed by the player. Implements of torture are found elsewhere.
  • The arena. That isn't red paint, you know.
  • Zombies have their flesh stripped right down to the bone in places. Many zombies are also decapitated.

  • 7 months later...

on the topic of werewolves I agree that it would take alot of time to make a really good looking werewolf mod.

I myself haven't tried to modify oblivion but I have come to understand that scripting in this game is as hard as making new items.

Eew, necromancer! Anyway, werewolves have been done within one of the larger mods, MMM or Frans... Wives have arguably been done by some of the companion mods, while these havn't really done too much, they've done about as much as you can do within oblivion. Lock topic please, thanks.

Er yes, squall please pay attention to the date of the last post in a thread before posting... if your post doesn't add a lot, then it's necromancy.

Locked.
