DarkRaven666 Posted November 5, 2010 Share Posted November 5, 2010 Howdy y'all,I have created a mod called "Ace of Spades cowboy hat" (didn't upload it yet) which adds an Ace of Spades death symbol to the sheriff hat. I have created a new hat (so I don't alter the original sheriff hat) and retextured it. Thing is, when I equip the Ace of Spades Hat the animation is wrong and shows the hat mounted in an unnatural position on my shoulder instead my head. I tried both duplicating the sheriff hat and creating a new hat using the sheriff hat mesh, and all the times the Ace of Spades hat always uses the wrong position. Even if I use the vanilla texture, the same problem. I also activated and deactivated the "Archive invalidation invalidated" and it ain't working,it changes nothing. So I would like to know what to do in order to create an ace of spades hat that uses the right position.Thanks in advance! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

coralfang Posted November 7, 2010 Share Posted November 7, 2010 You can try to "fix" it turning the hat 90 degrees in the .nif file, then when the game rotates it would be placed right, but first check the pinned thread about converting FO3 hats to FNV on the Mod Talk forums.
