Since I seem not to be allowed to post a new topic under uploaded files (for whatever screwed up reason), but I am searching for an answer concerning an uploaded file, I guess I will spill my guts here. I downloaded Montana's Sexy Companion II a month or two back (great mod, just wish it was a guy I could summon, you know!!), but now I want to rate it, but it seems as if the file went "poof" and disappeared. Is somebody screwing with me or is the file really gone?

The 'screwed up reason' is you are asking a question, not uploading a mod. For some 'screwed up reason' we reserve the mod upload section for uploading mods. And the forum for discussing mods and asking questions. We don't allow mods to be uploaded in the forums either. :whistling:

 

When a new mod is uploaded, a new topic is automatically started in the forums to allow people to ask questions and comment on that mod. If that mod is later removed, the topic is closed. That place where you think you are commenting on a mod in the upload section is really a link to the forum topic.

 

If we allow anyone to post what ever they want, wherever they want then no one would be able to find anything. We get between 4000 and 5000 posts a day so we really do need to keep things organized. :thumbsup:

 

The reason Montana's mod is not here is because Montana pulled it for his own reasons. It was not removed by the staff. Unlike some other sites, here the author gets to control their mod.

Montanna's mod was one of the best mods out there for companion(s) in Oblivion.

 

Maybe something happened to cause him to pull it. Someone port it to F:NV without his permission?
