Parent Master

So whats the deal with parent masters? It seems to me that mods can't be reliant on other mods so far. For example, a player home...you go in to the GECK, tick FalloutNV.esm, playerhome.esp and load without an active file. When you delete stuff and replace it with other objects and save it as playerhomeaddon.esp it doesn't work, nothing changes in game. Even in the GECK if you try to load the playerhomeaddon.esp it doesn't show that playerhome.esp is a parent master file to it.

Is this just something that hasn't been caught up to speed yet, or am I just an idiot and I'm doing something wrong? And more importantly, if it is lacking this feature thus far, is there any hope of seeing it soon?

First off, thanks for the reply. I figured it out though. Theres a tutorial on F3 Under Ground. Secondly, its actually more done through NVMM, at least thats where the "make ESM" button is. Though FNVEdit does play its part as well. As far as enabling multiple masters goes, it isn't really necessary due to the fact that your allowed one or two ESM's by default on top of FalloutNV.esm, which is a given. I don't mean to critique your post since YOU were trying to help ME, but I figured I'd throw it out there in case someone else stumbles across this post later on looking for the same info.

This question I asked was more of a brain-fart, its just been a while since I made my own mod, I usually just modify mods to my liking so all the hard work has already been done lol.
