Setting Locations for Cells or Interiors???

So I have been following the GECK Vault Guide and I want to know 1. How to set a vault cell thing to a location on the map. 2. I want to Know how to make an exterior for my interior cell thing that I have been working on. Now I just need to know how to associate my interior with an exterior.

Place an exterior location on in the wilderness area. This could be a building or a cave.

Place the door to that building, make sure its not an opening type door.

Then open the doors properties, and click the 3D teleport tab.

Scroll down through and find your interior cell.

After that you should be able to find the door you have hopefully placed in your interior cell.

Once they are linked a yellow box with an arrow face will appear in your door. Its best to move these forward a little, and onto the ground. Otherwise you may appear on the wrong side of the door. and will be stuck in a building.

 

 

After that you should be able to go from one to the other.

What would be an example of a non-opening door? (i.e. names) Thanks for the help. If I can get this set up, I may be able to upload my first mod. 1 other thing, will it create a fast travel location indicator/thingy that I can fast travel to or do I need to make one, If I need to make one, can someone describe how to do that.

A non-opening door would be the kind with a lock set to level 255 (requires key). All you need to do is not supply a key and it won't open.

 

As for fast travel, all you need to do is add the static object "map marker" (or whatever it's called) to where you want the player to land. Make sure you set the name and the radius and whatever else you need for the marker.
