gandalftw
You know that the impression that College is there for that you can "discover yourself" and search for the higher meaing just goes around since the Baby Boomers went there, did a loot of drugs and "discovered themselfs". The Governour is totaly right about that. A College is a Training Facility for the Requierments of the Market. It isn't there for that Nobodies can study 16th Century old english Poetry, Mayan Art and Gender Studies to "discover themselfs" and then end up in debt while bitching about, that they can't find a job. You can't find a job with a diploma in Mayan Art? Well what a shocker. The government doesn't want them searching for truth any more. They might discover that we have been lied to for decades, and upset some people.Seriously, this is exactly the kind of low spirited attitude this pot smoking "discover yourself" past formed up to. Big scandal ahead, government "doesn't you to search for the truth". Everyone who isn't a total Moron knows that Governments are lying and they are fine with that. Why? Because its often better than expect these people to handle the truth. And even if a big scandal would come out, people wouldn't care. Bit besides that, this government coverup Nonsense has little to do with what the Governour imposed. People ain't searching for "truth". They search for explanations that would fit an already settled moral perimeter. Have a problem with "Baby Boomers"do ya?Ahh,too bad. We're here to stay until we're not and then our influence will continue on forever. Not a damn thing you can do about it.Hehe... What is a loot of drugs? Is that anything like a gaggle of geese? Formal education has always been focused on forcing one get ready for the work-a-day world it's common knowledge. No mission statement is ever going to change that. This Governor has already tried to back out of his statement claiming it was a draft error. So he didn't IMPOSE anything,at worst he made a fool of himself, much like someone else i know. "Governour"is that French? As for Mayan art have you ever heard of archaeology? As for governments lying,a certain "Baby Boomer"generation had a big problem with that and their efforts brought about the end of the Vietnam war. "Gender Studies"?Another problem for you no doubt? Poetry,so the arts really piss you off? Why,explain please? People ain't searching for "truth". They search for explanations that would fit an already settled moral perimeter. "moral perimeter"I'd like to hear more about your mathematical concept for morality.

KaiHatia
Have a problem with "Baby Boomers"do ya?Ahh,too bad. We're here to stay until we're not and then our influence will continue on forever. Not a damn thing you can do about it.Hehe...It is a generation of suckers that claim every improvement from civil rights issues to liberalization as their achievment while actualy contributing very little and now becoming a burden to later generations with their entitlement thinking. In GTA5 the Baby Boomers were mocked with this Altruistic Camp in the Mountains where they feed on the blood of young people, which was in my opinion a very good portraiture. Who else wants to know more about that, read P.J. O'Rourke The Baby Boom: How It Got That Way. So he didn't IMPOSE anything,at worst he made a fool of himself, much like someone else i know.Does someone who quotes J.K. Rooling in a philosophical debate about the meaning of truth realy wants to call the fool card on other people? As for governments lying,a certain "Baby Boomer"generation had a big problem with that and their efforts brought about the end of the Vietnam war.As i said, read the baby boom Book. And thanks Gandalf for pictureing exactly what i made my point about. The Baby Boomer Generation is a bunch of self-righteous hedonistic suckers who try to mock everything that lays beyond their intellect. Because these things have to be dumb when someone who went to college discover himself ain't able to get it, it has to be stupid. And just for the point, the Vietnam War ended with a communist invasion of the south, a soviet and chinese armed steel roller that came down Highway Number 1 and enslaved the South Vietnamese People which lead to Labor Camps, Boat People and just more Missery. Great achievement for the baby boomer Protestors who were safe from all that back in the States. "moral perimeter"I'd like to hear more about your mathematical concept for morality. The Moral Perimeter is that was everyone has already set up in his mind, the world view he already has and where things have to "fit in". You for example are, typical of a baby boomer i would assume, try to fit things like a worthless College Degree in Mayan Art into this one thiny Niche the Market has for such Qualifications, because your Hedonistic Worldview doesn't allow the conclusion that people are no damn good and ofter their missery is a result of their own mistakes. And to round that up, you ask me to explain what "pisses me off" about poetry. Nothing and my Opinion about this when it comes to College Degrees would be meaningless anyway. But the Situation, the reality, is that these things ain't much wanted in the free market and so for there are no Jobs for these people. The Result is that these people end up in Debt, because the people who give student loans can care less about what the people study, and in the worst case then blame everyone else. At least they went to College, smoked some pot and discovered themself. Edited March 19, 2015 by KaiHatia

KaiHatia
Hehehe...Everything is funny, everything is a big joke, who else could even think about overcoming the great generation of baby boomers in anything. For the rest of your years you can keep this attitude, because no one would get mad at an old men when be starts to behave childish again. And yes, i'am aware of the fact that you are not realy thinking that youre a wizard. Hehe, obviously you need others to define your reality and i find that laughable. Is it possible that P.J. O'Rourke is wrong?Of course it is just as your own perception of reality could be wrong or can't you accept that?Just let me deconstruct this point real quick. You assume its obviously that i need others to define reality for me, because i recommend a Book on the subject. Again we are at the point of this self rightous narcissism the Boomers have and how they look down on everyone else. I don't need P.J. O'Rourke to define reality for me, but the fact that he wrote a book on the subject we now seam to debate can improve the life of people reading it instead of debating the whole thing over and over again. Best books were already writen, there is no real need to debate it again. And why did i even picked the Book in the first place? Because the Title already spoke to me, adressing experiences i already made. The Baby Boom: How It Got That Way... And It Wasn't My Fault... And I'll Never Do It Again . The underlined part to be exactly. Also, we see again in this point, that you wanna play a card against others who yourself would be realy vulnerable to. Do you need Rooling to define the meaning of "Truth" to you? I don't need the Book, but the book improves my own awareness toward this point. The Title spoke to me, because i know its very common for Baby Boomers like you to find excuses. When someone studies something totaly worthless, you even find excuses for that. And then you call my behavior sad, a behavior you just constructed in your head and i don't have. Edited March 19, 2015 by KaiHatia
gandalftw
Oh,you've checked out my profile and decided to use my age against me, good going trollish person.. Actually i am a Wizard. Your Guru is wrong. The title spoke to you because of your Moral Perimeter, whatever that is,and that's sad.. KaiHatia
Oh, attack my age good going trollish person.. Actually i am a Wizard. The title spoke to you because of your Moral Perimeter, whatever that is,and that's sad.. So now you are calling me a trollish person. Its okay for you when i'am the one who can't think for himself( a total unbased claim), but now a comment about the age related to immature behavior starts a big cryout. Bu-hu. This is just wailing. Another post with talking but no saying. And just for the sake i explain to you what a Moral Perimeter is: Everyone has a worldview. You for example think it was noble and heroic to protest the vietnam war, throw the south vietnamese under the bus to feel better about yourself and then, as Aurelius pointed out, demand thanking for their service to all mankind. All these things are settled in your moral Perimeter related if they are good or bad. For you the Vietnam War was bad, because maybee you think the world should be like in this John Lennon Song Imagine. For me, the Vietnam War is settled somewhere else in my Moral Perimeter, in the "things that are good" Area. Its just the same war, same actors, same actions. But i think the Vietnam War was a good endeavor, because i think the South Vietnamese were woth it. American Colonists needed Hessen and French Mercenaries, German People needed Allied bombing campaigns to kill other Germans, less good and more bad germans, for them. This is how it is, this is the reality. When i read about the Phoenix Program first, i was asking myself why didn't they start earlier and the Republic of Vietnam could have been saved like Chile. This is my moral perimeter. So when we speak about the searching for "Truth" here, everyone is looking for diffrent Things. For you the Phoenix Program would be a bad thing, evil Government secrets that have to brought to the light, because these things are bad, while for me this is just what is necessary and what needs to be done. Get that?
