TemporalPick
I'm not really a good modder at all, but maybe someone else might be able to do this. I like playing skyrim with a controller, it's just better to play that way for me. I've also grown to love the new dualshock, and while I can handle seeing xbox buttons in game, is it possible that someone can change the UI interface to display dualshock 4 buttons instead of xbox 360? duffman9465
I agree with you about the controller part. It's far easier to play with a controller on pc if you're more accustomed to the controller. I too have also tried playing Skyrim with a DS4. It's not impossible. But as far as I know and all the experience I have using Playstation controllers with games on pc, you will not be able to change the controller symbols on screen unless the game itself supports that controller directly. For example: games like Dishonored and Skyrim have an option in game to enable an Xbox 360 controller. Not Playstation. Because you have to use a tool like Motioninjoy for DS3 controllers or SCP for DS4 to emulate an Xbox controller, then there is no way (at the moment anyway) to change over the onscreen icons like that. If you couldn't find a mod here on Nexus or by Google search, then there isn't anything for that either currently or ever. Personally, I don't know why game developers don't just make their games compatible for Dualshock controllers from the start. It just doesn't make sense. Dualshock controllers are capable of wireless play and wired play no matter what and you don't have to go spend extra money if you don't have to

duffman9465
Ah. Looks like I was corrected. There is a mod for that
TemporalPick
is this what you're looking for: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/92/?Yeah, kinda like that. There a way to change certain symbols in it? JackWall
Hi. I'm a veteran user of the PS3 interface and have been using it alongside with SkyUI. What was my surprise to find that there were NO mod for the DS4! I'm a bit of a perfectionist person and was hoping to find that mod with the "options" and "share" buttons. The fact is, this mod was made for Dark Souls but not for Skyrim! I would do it myself but my knowledge in gfx/swf files editing is null. Hell, I've no idea how to open a gfx in a image editor XD But, I'm gonna dig in to it and see what I can find. If I end up making the mod, I'll share it (no promises though). EDIT: found the required programs and a tutorial. Unfortunatelly, I don't have the time nor patience to make it. So if somebody is interested in doing it, here's the guide: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1800/? Edited March 17, 2015 by JackWall

It doesn't seem too incredibly difficult to do but challenging enough that it sparks my interest Yeah, it sparked mine too but due to the required amount of time it needs (at least in the 1st steps when you are learning yet), I decided not to try it. I hope you can make it, and one thing will be sure if you achieve it: you'll be me hero! I'll be watching your progress if you decide to try it and, if you need help with something, contact me and I'll try to help  (I'm skilled in Photoshop). duffman9465
When I get to that point I'll get a hold of you for sure. I know very little about photoshop and could use the help definitely. I'm a quick learner and just getting used to a couple of the steps before I throw myself into it too far. I still have a big mod project I'm working on plus work in the real world so it might be a couple of weeks. Mainly because I need to brush up a little on Flash. It's been a few years since I've had to use it. The Skyrim .fla files are far from straightforward too, so this is going to take a good amount of time. Thank god there's not a bunch of scripting involved otherwise I'd need some extra help with it. Plus there's conversions to be made. Everything is in 2.0 and has to be converted to 3.0. I am having some trouble finding the correct .fla file for this. So far, I've found everything else except for button mappings. EDIT: Not too sure on this one but I believe Bethesda may be using .fla action-scripting for this rather than making a .fla image file (Ex: the message boxes) Edited March 23, 2015 by duffman9465
JackWall
That's why I decided to let this to someone else to give it a go. It requires a lot of time and effort, and as I said, mainly in the 1st stages. Take your time, no rushes. And when the art part takes place, I'll be here to help. I wish Skyrim used the same interface as Fallout 3/NV. Those interfaces were very easy to edit mainly because they used .dds files only. P.S.: something that came to mind... It would be great if this was done to be used along with SkyUI, mainly because there are a lot of mods that require SkyUI, and hell, I use it  Maybe you can use some resourses from SkyUI PS3 buttons. You may want to contact the author for help  Edited March 26, 2015 by JackWall
